1 Impact Dashboard By 2014, PSI and its network members averted an estimated 44.2 million DALYs globally. PSI has met 60.6% of the strategic plan (SP) target to avert million DALYs, and 56.4% of the SP target to provide million CYPs; with 56.7% elapsed time. 12 African countries have averted > 1 million DALYs in 2014, accounting for 88% YTD total, see page 3. As a region, West & Central Africa has doubled DALYs averted relative to YTD Malaria DALYs averted have also doubled. In, Malaria accounted for 68% of DALYs averted with the distribution of LLINs in Zimbabwe, South Sudan, Mali and ACTs in Congo-Kinshasa, Mali, and Nigeria. By far, our biggest CYP producers are Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan, Tanzania, and South Africa; total of 53% of YTD CYPs and each accounted for > 1 million CYPs, see page 5.
