9 HEPATITIS C HEPATITIS C IS THE MOST COMMON BLOODBORNE INFECTION IN THE UNITED STATES. IN THE US, IT KILLS MORE PEOPLE EVERY YEAR THAN ALL OTHER 59 REPORTABLE INFECTIOUS DISEASES COMBINED.
