The core team members merged generic Safe Motherhood Needs Assessment guidelines from WHO and UNFPA to adapt to Kenyan needs, then conducted the survey. 3
4 The assessment was conducted in 10 districts sampled from 7 of the 8 provinces in Kenya. The preparations started in August 1999, leading to data collection and entry in December, data analysis and report writing in January The Report on the Reproductive Health Needs Assessment Kenya 1999/2000 First Draft is ready. (MINISTRY OF HEALTH NAIROBI, FEBRUARY 2000 (DRAFT) Ph.D Research Thesis Title - The position of Kenyan Women in negotiating for safer sex within marriage in the context of HIV/AIDS Pandemic in Nairobi Understanding Human Learning. The study was to establish whether it makes any difference to learning when more than one sense modality is employed. Research Hypothesis There is significant difference to learning when presentation is via one sense modality as opposed to three. Result The result indicated that what is seen is learned faster and retained better than what is heard only. The study was carried out in KMTC Nairobi. The subjects were 42 Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing Students Research paper on Prevention of HIV infection. Developed an instrument/questionnaire aimed to study community awareness on HIV/AIDS transmission.
