Vit C Cases - Shingles Schencking M, Sandholzer H, Frese T. Intravenous administration of vitamin C in the treatment of herpetic neuralgia: two case reports. Med Sci Monit Apr 28;16(5):CS PubMed PMID: ACMN 1

Vit C Cases - Shingles 15 g of vitamin C was administered intravenously every second day over a period of two weeks. Sudden and total remission of the neuropathic pain could be observed. Remission of the cutaneous lesions was noted within 10 days 2010 ACMN 2

Vit C Cases - Stings IVC has been reported recently to rapidly ameliorate severe jellyfish sting. Kumar S, Miranda-Massari JR, Gonzalez MJ, Riordan HD. Intravenous ascorbic acid as a treatment for severe jellyfish stings. P R Health Sci J Jun;23(2): ACMN 3

Vit C Cases - Stings 45 g of sodium ascorbate in 500 cc sterile water i.v., infused at rate of two to three drops per second. Five mg of chlorpheniramine was added to the infusion. The patient reported a reduction of pain within 10 minutes of infusion. Next day 30g i.v. Leg erythema and inflammation were diminished substantially 18 hours after therapy ACMN 4

Vit C Cases - Klenner Klenner used massive doses of Vit C i.m. or i.v. for treating viral disorders Lendon H. Smith, M.D., Clinical Guide to the Use of Vitamin C - The Clinical Experiences of Frederick R. Klenner, M.D. - Review of 27 publications of cases by Klenner 2010 ACMN 5

Vit C Cases - Klenner The amount of C depends upon the severity of the disease but also upon the efficiency of the victim s immune system. The usual dose of 65 mg per kilogram of body weight may be expected to take care of the usual virus infection when given every 2-4 hours by needle. The more severe condition would respond to larger single injections ACMN 6

Vit C Cases - Klenner The itch, the irritability, the pain, the vomiting of chicken pox measles and mumps was assuaged in one hour with 250 mg/kg. Crusting of chicken pox was present in 5 hours instead of 7-9 days. 250 mg per kilogram eliminated the disease in contrast to the 65 mg which just suppressed it. 350 mg per kilogram may be employed along with antibiotics in treating stubborn bacterial infections ACMN 7

Vit C Cases - Klenner With 350 mg per kilogram of body weight every two hours, he could stop measles and dry up chicken pox. If he could get in the vein, 400 mg per kilogram two to three times in 24 hours was all that was required (he published this way back in 1951, in the Southern Medical Surgical Journal) ACMN 8

Vit C Cases - Klenner Klenner reports a case of a 4 yo girl bitten by a highland moccasin snake. (Klenner 1971). Bitten at 7:00PM Hospital at 7:30 PM, crying, vomiting Fever 99.0 F 2010 ACMN 9

Vit C Cases - Klenner 4g IVC at 7:30 stopped crying and vomiting within 25 mins, laughing 10:00AM next morning slight swelling and 0.5 degree fever. Given 4g IVC. 38 hours after bite completely normal ACMN 10

Vit C Cases - Klenner Klenner (1957) reported successful treatment of Black Widow spider bite with 4g IVC protocol. Klenner (1971) reported successful treatment of Puss Caterpillar sting with 12g IVC ACMN 11
