What We ll Cover Beyond the Basics Exactly what are tapping points and where they are located How to discover YOUR Important / Potent Points Why does tapping work: The energetic, emotional and physical benefit of EACH tapping point Specific balancing affirmations for each tapping point, and A Tapping Routine that takes only minutes to balance your energies and your emotions so you are calmer and more positive through the day
Why Listen to Gwenn? EFT Tapping Expert Gwenn Bonnell Sharing EFT Tapping and Energy Medicine since 1998 TWS yearly presenter IGEEM Presenter past two years Trained with Gary Craig (EFT), Donna Eden (Energy Medicine) Touch for Health (Applied Kinesiology) Small Animal Acupressure Acupressure Mastery (Michael Gach)
What Are The Tapping Points? Acupuncture/Acupressure Points Along Meridians (Pathways of Energy) In depressions between bones, muscles and tendons May feel a connection, soreness or settling in a hollow Tap with 2 fingers in general area stimulates a point
What Are The Meridians? Interconnecting pathways of energy that flow through body Similar to how veins carry blood Complete circuit of energy flow Mapped thousands of years ago by Chinese Medicine Modern technology measures
Meridian Flow One Continuous Flow Tapping one acupoint can clear stuck energy All meridians affected Energy flowing smoothly Body has what it needs for physical and emotional health
Why Does Tapping Work? Uses the electro-magnetic energy of the small palpable acu-points that are closest to the surface of the skin. Tapping points are connections between the positive and negative (yin-yang) energy flowing through the body (think of a battery with it s two polarities). Tapping to release a block or constriction in the energy flow supports body functions and releases emotional stress.
Why Does Tapping Work? Functional MRI shows stimulating acupuncture points changes how the brain processes the stress-stimuli response. Balances energy flow while focusing on what would normally cause a stress response. Next time the same/similar stress trigger appears, brain reacts with a calming response rather than fight-or-flight Stress trigger is no longer a stress trigger!
Your Potent Point(s) Tapping points that are sore or tender Points that you feel a release while tapping (deep breath, yawn, etc.) Points that correspond to specific emotions Emotional First Aid Points EFT on steroids!
Tapping with Affirmations Tapping stimulates the acu-meridian system, the template for the body s electrical system. Tapping acupoints goes to the source of life in the body. When affecting that level of reality, it s important to have an intention of making a change (Affirmation) Tapping puts that intention into the body s electrical system Rebuilds the infra-structure of your life experiences
