I do wish however wish it had a cross reference in the back where one could look up symptoms and find which homeopathic to read up on. As it is you must dig through each one to find the symptoms to

3 treat. This would be a better reference with this cross reference ability.i did appreciate the clear definition of miasma and the four main miasms - very nice! What a fun book. I confess I knew very little about homeopathy and had not realized that it was such an integrated approach to health. It is complicated and yet Dr. Patel manages to make it very clear and fun. I loved the illustrations and the lighthearted approach that somehow manages to help us navigate through a complex and ultimately serious approach to understanding health. Dr. Patel may have developed this book for naturopaths but really it is approachable for anyone with an interest in thinking about all the different factors that play a role in illness as well as health.dr. Staves This book is a nice quick way to learn the basics of the common homeopathic remedies. I believe I have read over 20 books on homeopathy types and protocol; and I will be keeping this one to go to for quick reference. As with anything else, when pictures are included, sure helps one remember main ideas better. This is the easiest and most entertaining way to identify some core personalities.got this just to better understand myself and a few friends and coworkers. The illustrations even look like the people I know! Wish I knew how to gently break the news to my boss how closely he fits one of these profiles, right down to physical appearance and the phrases that he uses.gave one as a gift to my homeopath and he loved it too. It looks good on my PC when I read it using "Kindle for PC" but will not load properly in my two Kindle Fire HDX. What I see of the book on my PC, using "Kindle for PC," has caused me to want the paper edition - so I purchased it. However I am saddened that I am unable to access it on the HDXs.Even though I have been using and teaching Homeopathy for some time, I found this book (as seen on my PC) very good because it explains the types clearly in both text and with visuals.btw - for those wanting the e-book Kindle edition you should know that "Kindle for PC" is a free download here at. This is an essential read for the homeopathic student, novice or practitioner. Homeopathy can be overwhelming, but Dr. Patel breaks down remedies in a way that makes them user friendly. Her pictures and explanations of each remedy are fresh and most importantly are memorable. I have been practicing homeopathy for 3 years and I still read this book and learn something new or

4 become reacquainted with remedies. I wish I had this book during my studies and/or for review before taking my ND boards. Every homeopathic and/or naturopathic medical school should have this book in their bookstores or as a recommended reading. If you enjoy homeopathy, this book is for you! Very good resource! Especially good for the remedies covered in a first term of homeopathy class. The amount of remedies only covers those required for one term, but for the price it is definitely worth it! I love how it uses info from the blue desktop guide. I have some experience with homeopathy. I liked the concept for newbies as well as myself. Especially good for visual learners and processors. A basic guide and one I'd recommend, I may purchase the hard copy for my resource.
