5 Taichi Simple Suit Measurement Sheet Please fill in the following information for assistance with sizing Taichi leather suits. *** ACTUALLY MEASURE *** Do not assume measurements based on pant or jacket size. US-sized garment labels DO NOT consistently equal their measurements. Note: a more extensive measurement sheet is also available and is necessary for custom suit requests or precise suit fitment modifications. The information requested on this sheet will allow a Taichi suit representative to recommend an off the rack suit size for most riders body types. NAME Gender Height Weight 1) Chest cm 2) Waist cm 3) Hips cm Chest Protector Y or N and brand Back Protector Y or N and brand Measurement notes: For chest measurement (1), measure circumference around the chest at the broadest point, typically just under the armpits for men and around the bust for women. Taichi assumes the rider will usually wear some form of back protector with a suit. Therefore, do NOT measure with your back protector on. However, do note if you plan on wearing a chest protector and/or if you wear a brand of body armor that may be noticeably thicker than average. For waist measurement (2), measure circumference AT THE NAVEL, not at the height where you typically wear your pants. For hip measurement (3), measure the circumference at the largest point around the hips and buttocks. Please take measurements over only underwear or the lightest weight clothes practical, such as a t-shirt and gym shorts, or baselayers/undersuits. Also, to ensure accuracy, do not self-measure. It is highly advised to allow a second person to take the measurements of the rider. A local tailor or dry cleaner that performs alterations can often provide professional assistance.
