2 INTRODUCTION 2 nd Trends in Glaucoma is an event aimed at glaucomatologists and, in general, all ophthalmologists interested in this pathology. The meeting objective is to show and discuss in the most dynamic way the latest developments in the diagnosis as well as medical and surgical treatment of different types of glaucoma, with national and international specialists. With the intention that this is an eminently practical meeting, the programme is structured in short presentations and panel discussions, with clinical cases, where our speakers will discuss their approach to the daily management criteria of their patients. We look forward to your attendance and to receiving you at the headquarters of the Barcelona Ocular Microsurgery Institute.
