1 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SUPPLY OF MEDICINES FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF FIJI FREE MEDICINE INITIATIVE The Fijian Government invites expressions of interest from reputable Manufacturers and Suppliers for the supply of identified Medicines. Expression of Interest Documents which includes the list of identified medicines are available for collection from the Ministry of Finance - Fiji Procurement Office, Level 4 Ro Lalabalavu House.For electronic copies, please skacisolomone@finance.gov.fj. 2 EOI Documents EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - SUPPLY OF MEDICINES FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF FIJI FREE MEDICINE INITIATIVE 1. The Steering Committee invited expressions of interest from reputable potential Manufacturer(s) for the supply of Medicines listed in Annex 1 ( EOI ). 2. Successful manufacturer with favorable quotations will be engaged for a year initially and renewal is subject to performance review. 3. The preference of the Committee is for the successful Manufacturer to provide all items as per Annex 1 ( Items ). 4. In the event the successful Manufacturer is inter alia unable to supply the Items or the prices offered are unfavorable, additional Manufacturers shall be engaged for this initiative. 5. The Steering Committee may purchase a particular item from another Manufacturer in circumstances considered appropriate by it. 6. Proposals are to be on the official letterhead and must include and but not limited to the following: (i) (ii) (iii) Documentation to confirm that Manufacturer is proficient in the provision of quality Medicines; Company profile including physical location of the head office and branches (if any) and contact details; and Currency used, Country of origin, Mode of shipment, Mode of payment, Delivery time, Life span/expiry dates, Batch numbers, Dosage Forms, Pack size, Packing Material/Product Presentation. 7. All medicine manufactured and supplied to be of British Pharmacopeia (BP) United States Pharmacopeia (USP) or European Pharmacopeia (EurPh) standards only.

3 8. All medicine supplied are to be manufactured in FDA approved premises or other internationally recognized regulatory bodies under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). 9. Potential local Manufacturers to quote price on Duty Paid VAT inclusive, delivered directly on an as and when required basis. Potential International Manufacturers to quote price on C&F Sea, Suva and C&F Air basis. 10. Potential Manufacturers must quote separately for each Item and Prices should be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of the closing of the EOI. 11. The conditions of the packaging of the Items are as follows: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) No over the counter packaging; All packaging to state Fijian Government - Free Medicine ; White cardboards for boxes or translucent plastic bottles or amber glass bottles for liquids; Batch / Expiry / Pack size / concentration and the generic to be printed on labels; and Blister packets of 10s for oral tablets or capsules. 12.
