Provide and supervise the delivery of individual applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an intensive autism learning facility. Provide weekly individual cognitive-behavioral therapy for child anxiety using Coping Cat curriculum. Co-facilitate monthly support group for siblings of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Co-facilitate monthly social skills group with adolescents and young adults (14-20 years) diagnosed with ASD, including in naturalistic environments in the community (e.g., the mall). Co-facilitated three-week summer ABA social skills camp for children with ASD (8-12 years) The Children s Campus Residential Services; Mishawaka, IN Supervisor: Dr. Kristin Tawadros, Psy.D., HSPP Provided individual therapy (CBT, TF-CBT, and DBT) for an active caseload of between 4-7 children and adolescents (ages 11-17), including those with chronic trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders. Independently facilitated twice weekly DBT group for locked-secure female unit. Co-facilitated twice weekly social skills group on unit for clients with developmental disabilities. Conducted functional behavior assessments for clients on unit for developmental disabilities, assisted in the development and modification of behavior plans, and communicated findings to residential staff. Developed and facilitated weekly trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy group following the protocol published by Deblinger, Pollio, & Dorsey (2016) in Child Maltreatment. Co-facilitated twice weekly substance use group for adolescent males and females. Performed crisis assessment and management for a range of high-risk behaviors, including non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal intent, physical aggression, and elopement from treatment facility. Liaised with other providers, including department of child services caseworkers and probation officers. Developed and updated treatment plans monthly, and communicated changes to residential staff. 5 Oaklawn Child & Adolescent Clinical Services; South Bend, IN Supervisor: Dr. Victor Tan, Psy.D., HSPP Provided weekly individual and family outpatient therapy using cognitive-behavioral interventions for an active caseload of between 8 and 10 children and adolescents (ages 4-17) with a broad range of presenting problems (e.g., trauma symptoms and PTSD, ADHD, ODD and other disruptive behavior problems, enuresis and encopresis, anxiety, depression, ASD, school and academic concerns, parenting difficulties) in a community mental health setting. Co-facilitated weekly emotion regulation DBT group for adolescent females with a range of concerns, including self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD, conduct disorder, and ASD Independently conducted and wrote weekly clinical intake assessments. Participated and presented in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences, and consulted with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and skills trainers to address clients response to medication and progress in the home, school, and community. Co-facilitated psycho-educational and skills training group sessions at two weekend-long, overnight therapeutic camps for children (ages 8-12) of parents with substance use disorders. Maintained extensive clinical documentation, including intake assessments, plans of care, progress notes, and risk assessments through CareLogic E. Blair Warner Family Medicine Clinic; Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN Supervisor: Dr. Kristin Valentino, Ph.D., HSPP Completed comprehensive psychological assessment reports in response to referrals from primary care physicians, and provided diagnostic impressions and recommendations to families and physicians. Administered and scored a range of standardized cognitive (WISC), achievement (Woodcock-Johnson tests), language (EVT; PPVT), behavioral (ADOS, Vineland), socio-emotional (BASC, CDI, SCQ), and projective (TAT, sentence completion, kinetic family drawing) assessments to children and adolescents (ages 2 17) with a range of presenting problems. Provided weekly individual cognitive-behavioral therapy for child depression using the Primary and Secondary Control Enhancement Treatment (PASCET) program. Co-facilitated weekly psycho-educational group on parenting skills for high-school aged mothers using the Talk With Your Baby curriculum at Lafeyette School-Aged Mothers Program (SAMP). Consulted with primary care physicians, social workers, and other providers in a multidisciplinary medical setting. CLINICAL RESEARCH TRAINING 2016-present Reminiscing and Autobiographical Memory among Children with ASD: Examining Difficulties, Strengths, and Predictors Role: Principal Investigator (Dissertation project) Independently designed and developed project proposal and protocol, received IRB approval, and secured extramural funding from the Society for Research in Child Development. Liaise with community providers and organizations to facilitate project recruitment. Conduct and supervise 2-3 hour assessment sessions involving preschool-aged children with and without ASD and their mothers. Sessions involve dyadic tasks (e.g., free play, reminiscing), mothers completing Page 5 of 9

6 self and child-report measures, and administration of child social (ADOS-2), cognitive (KABC), executive functioning (theory of mind, inhibition, verbal fluency), and socio-emotional (puppet interview) tasks. Supervise and participate in the observational coding of mother-child dyadic tasks and child assessments, score standardized measures, and oversee all aspects of the data collection process. Prepare reports based on the results of select standardized assessments (e.g., the ADOS and cognitive testing results) for participating families. Conduct data analysis, prepare submissions for conference presentations, and produce manuscripts to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals present Fostering Healthy Development Among Maltreated Preschool-Aged Children NIH Project Number: 4R01HD Role: Research Assistant Principal Investigator: Dr. Kristin Valentino Code for the presence and nature of child maltreatment (e.g., severity, timing, chronicity) from child abuse legal records using the Maltreatment Classification System (MCS). Supervise and participate in (1) observational coding of maternal sensitivity during free play using the preschool Q-sort procedure, (2) observational coding of maternal and child engagement in reminiscing using the Autobiographical Emotional Events Dialogue (AEED) scheme, (3) transcription and scoring of adult and child performance on the Autobiographical Memory Test (AMT), and (4) processing of maternal and child saliva samples to prepare for cortisol assays. Train licensed clinical social workers in the administration and scoring of standardized child assessment instruments, including the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (KABC-2), Expressive Vocabulary Test (EVT-2), Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT-4), and a range of socio-emotional (e.g., puppet interview) and memory tasks. Assist with data collection and conduct assessments with mother-child dyads. Contribute to and engage in data analysis, grant writing efforts, peer-reviewed publications, and conference presentations, and participate in biweekly meetings with all project staff present Development and Psychopathology Lab Research Projects Role: Research Assistant Principal Investigator: Dr. Kristin Valentino Contribute to a range of research projects, including (1) an investigation of mother-child reminiscing and preschool child functioning among a low-income community sample, (2) an examination of maternal adverse childhood experiences (ACES), birth outcomes, and infant functioning conducted in collaboration with a local Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) community health clinic, and (3) a study of behavioral and cognitive inhibition in relation to autobiographical memory among college students. Assist with data collection and conduct assessments with mother-child dyads, including administration of language, executive functioning, cognitive, and memory tasks. Supervise undergraduate research assistants in the transcription and coding of observational tasks, including mother-child reminiscing interactions and child autobiographical memory tests, and facilitate weekly undergraduate research meetings. Supervise undergraduate mentored thesis research. Supervise data collection and contribute to and engage in data analysis, grant writing efforts, peerreviewed publications, and conference presentations. Page 6 of 9
