I began implementing CBT with an adult with GAD, and CBT with an adult with depression and NSSI. Throughout treatment I was supervised by Dr. Clum and two advanced graduate students who live-observed my therapy sessions. I also conducted comprehensive assessment reports. Dr. Lee Cooper: Under Dr. Lee Cooper s supervision, I continued my first-year clinical training in what is typically called first-year summer practicum, where the first-year students are all given clinical training based primarily in Dr. Cooper s family systems orientation. I conducted assessments and was trained in evidence based practices regarding family systems, ERP for OCD, and Parent Management Training (PMT) for ADHD and ODD. Dr. John Richey: Dr. Richey s practicum team was focused on evidence-based interventions. Accordingly, I treated adults and children through various manualized interventions (e.g., PMT, Treatments that Work for Depression and Anxiety, DBT for Borderline Personality Disorder). Dr. Angela Scarpa: Dr. Scarpa s practicum team is focused on treating children, with an emphasis on children with ASD. Accordingly, I provided PRT to a child with ASD, CPS for ADHD and ODD, and behavioral therapy with structured TEACCHing techniques for ASD and ID). Additionally, I supervised two junior students throughout the practicum experience, providing training and insight into their case conceptualization and clinical skills. I received supervision of my supervision from Dr. Scarpa throughout this process.
