2 Course Goal The Goal of the 5th Annual Neuro-Oncology Symposium is to inform attendees on recent progress in the diagnosis, treatment and clinical care of brain tumor patients. Educational Objectives 1. Discuss emerging operative technologies that go beyond what is currently available. 2. Describe new and emerging clinical trial paradigms for brain tumor patients. 3. Demonstrate an understanding of the 3-D anatomical organization of the fiber tracts of the brain and how it is essential in planning safe and accurate cerebral surgery. Target Audience Neurosurgeons, Neuro-Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Neuro Pathologists, Neuroscientists, Physician Extenders and Nurses. Accreditation St. Joseph s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. St. Joseph s Hospital and Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM.
