4 SKULL BASE Meningioma Location difficulty to achieve Simpson Grade I in skull base lesions. Simpson grade of resection is more important than location of the lesion. Keep in mind that SRS results DO NOT depend on the level of resectability of a skull base meningioma! Radiosurgery is a BETTER option for non-resectable small to medium size SKULL BASE meningiomas (i.e., WITHOUT mass effect)!
