2 Conference Overview This symposium will cover areas of recent advances and controversies related to breast cancer screening and detection, surgical, radiation, and medical breast cancer care. Following its presentation, participants should be able to identify new imaging technology for screening and detection, improved treatment methods addressing local and systemic therapies, advances, and concerns in a patient s quality of life, survivorship issues, and the personalized approach to care using molecular and genetic tools. Who Should Attend This course is designed for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals practicing in the areas of Surgical, Medical, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and General Surgery recommended for any practitioner caring for women. At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to: Identify the existing standard of care treatments for breast cancer. Become familiar with evolving novel systemic treatments utilizing molecular and immunotherapy targeting of breast cancer. Understand the utility/importance of molecular assays. Describe the importance of clinical trials in the advancement of breast care treatments. Identify factors that affect patient quality of life and survivorship.

10 Refund Policies A refund of the registration fee, less a $10.00 processing fee, will be made when a written request or a telephone request followed by a written confirmation is received prior to March 15, After this date, refunds will not be made.
