1 REPORT ON DIAGNOSTIC PATHOLOGY UPDATE AND JUNIOR ACADEMY - HCMC 2013 Prepared by Gary Tse Organized by AAPIAP Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital Dates: Dec 2-4, 2013 Venue: Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital Registration: Overall, the number of participants was about , from almost all provinces in Vietnam, including Ha Noi (Ha Noi Cancer Hospital); Thai Nguyen (Hightland of North Vietnam); Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, BinhDinh, Phu Yen, NhaTrang (provinces from Middle Vietnam); Can Tho, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, TraVinh, Dong Nai, Vinh Long (provinces from South Vietnam, Mekong Delta); Ho Chi Minh city ( local hospitals and medical universities). There were about 120 pathologists, 20 surgeons, and 15 oncologists. Registration fee: This meeting was free of charge for local (Veitnamese) registrants, and there were two young Indonesian pathologists attended this meeting.
