1 Florina, 28 / 12 / 2006 Dear Dr. Gilbard and Dr. Hammon, LIPOMAS, UNDIAGNOSED PAIN, FAMILY HISTORY OR CANCER We send you the results from the analysis made about a patient (????????????) for screening. The sample that was sent to us for analysis was a sample of 20 ml of whole blood that contained EDTA-Ca as anti-coagulant, all In our laboratory we made the following: CD15 CD34 CD30 CD99 BCR-ABL EpCam VHL mut. CD19 MOC-1 CD63 VHL: renal carcinoma marker, CD19: Lung cancer cell marker (NSCLC) MOC-1: lung cancer cell marker (SCLC), : tumour stem cell marker, CD63: melanoma cell marker. Conclusion: We notice that after isolation procedure there are no remaining malignant cells. No circulating tumour cell detected on this blood specimen Dr. Papasotiriou Ioannis MD Index of circulating cells number: (upper limit: progress of disease, lower than limit: Breast cancer: 5 cell/7.5 ml, Prostate cancer 20cells/ml, Sarcoma: 15cells/6.5ml, Colon cancer: * This test will not pick up cancers of the brain or other cancers that have been encapsulated by the body or are not releasing cancer cells into the blood stream. We still recommend the use of biopsy, blood markers and/or various scans with this test when cancer is suspected or known to exist. ATMC
2 Dear Dr. Gilbard and Dr. Hammon, Florina, 27 / 11 / 2008 We send you the results from the analysis made about a patient (?????????????) suffering from renal cell carcinoma stage IV. The sample that was sent to us for analysis was a sample of 20 ml of whole blood that contained EDTA-Ca as anti-coagulant, all CD15 CD34 CD30 CD99 BCR-ABL EpCam POSITIVE CD34 VHL mut. POSITIVE CD19 CD19 CD133 POSITIVE MUC-1 CD63 malignancy marker, CD30: Hematologic malignancy marker, CD34: hematological stem cell and blast cell marker, epithelioid sarcoma marker, CD19: hematology B cell origin marker Bcr-Abl: Hematologic malignancy marker, CD99: Sarcoma marker, lung cancer cell marker (SCLC), CD63: melanoma cell marker,, CD133: tumour stem cell marker. Conclusion: We notice that after isolation procedure there are remaining malignant cells. The quantity of the isolated population is 5.2 cells/ml (SD +/- 0.3 cell) (Approx. 75% was CD133+ve and VHL+ve). Breast cancer: 5cell/7.5ml, Prostate cancer 20cells/ml, Sarcoma: 15cells/6.5ml, Colon cancer: * This test will not pick up cancers of the brain or other cancers that have been encapsulated by the body or are not releasing cancer cells into the blood stream.
