The purpose of this seminar is to review selected issues of relevance to survivors of breast and prostate cancer and to address how the primary care, family physicians, and allied health providers can help recognize and/or mitigate issues of importance relevant to these populations of cancer patients. Please join us for this comprehensive update hosted by the Vancouver Prostate Cancer Centre s Prostate Cancer Supportive Care Program. Discuss the role of cardio-oncology consultation in all cancer patients with an emphasis on survivorship 2. Discuss the cardiac complications of previous prostate and breast cancer therapies and the surveillance for these complications of these patients 3. What is breast cancer related lymphedema (BCRL) 2. What are the risk factors in the development of lymphedema in this population 3. Clinical diagnosis in the office 4.
