2 Gospel music's Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning quartet brings 21st century ideas combined with the timeless quality of great quartets from the 1950's to take an unconventional approach to joyfully communicating God's word. You can count on a concert experience of rich music that is both meaningful and thoroughly entertaining. Founder, Ernie Haase has a history with the Cathedral Quartet. In 2003, he formed a group of like-minded men who share his love for God and great harminies. Ernie, Devin McGlamery, Doug Anderson, and Ian Owens are Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. In 2008, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound won Gospel Music Association Dove Awards for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Album of the Year for "Get Away Jordan." The "Jordan" album has also been certified Gold. In 2009, they won another Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year Dove Award for "Reason Enough" from their "Dream On" album. Released in the fall of 2008, the "Dream On" DVD debuted at No. 1 on the Contemporary Christian Music Video Chart and at No. 3 on the Billboard Music Video Chart. The "Dream On" CD launched at No. 1 on the Southern Gospel Music Chart. "Dream On" was nominated for a 2010 Grammy in the category of "Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album." Tickets are $25 and reserved seating. Flex Series tickets available for $20 a ticket when purchasing tickets to four or more concerts. Andrews University Student tickets are $10. Guitarist Petar Jankovic and Lake Effect Jazz Big Band will perform. On Sunday, September 11, mark your calendars for a special Commemorative Concert remembering September 11's ten year anniversary. Other classical concerts include woodwind quintet, The City of Tomorrow, the Gold Medal winner of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, Carlos Flores and Claudio Gonzalez performing in a faculty recital with Latin flavor, Maria and Baron von Trapp's granddaughter, Elisabeth Von Trapp and Carla Trynchuk and Chi Yong Yun in a faculty recital. Wrapping up the season is Canadian Brass in April. The Christian artist line up includes Committed, from the NBC hit show The Sing Off, Christian artist Francesca Battistelli, and Gospel Music's Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound.
