Back pain & Homeopathy By Mehmood Abdul-Hayee Homeopathic consultant
Classification Neck pain Upper back pain Lower back pain Tailbone pain.
Most common complaint Lumbago Spondylolisthesis Spinal disc herniation Herniated discs, sciatica Low back pain, nerve impingement, spinal stenosis, herniated disc, ruptured disc, spinal degeneration.
Backache (Origin) It may have a sudden onset or can be a chronic pain; it can be constant or intermittent, stay in one place or radiate to other areas.
The Truth About Back Pain It might be a stab dull, sharp, piercing, burning sensation. The pain may be radiate into the arm and hand, upper or low back. May include symptoms: weakness, numbness or tingling.
Client Testimonals "I was suffering with back pain from years. Then I tried homeopathy. My pain subsides in just 2 week and now I do not longer require painkillers. I can sleep at night and function just about normally during the day. Thank you Mehmood for giving me my life back!" ~Afanasy, Amsterdam, NL I can move, run, and exercise again. It is fantastic to know that I can do something positive to get rid of my pain. I threw out all of my pills." ~Mrs. Tahir, Amsterdam, NL
Causes
Lifting objects hurts your back. It's not necessarily how much you lift, it's how you lift. When you lift, squat close to the object with your back straight and head up. Stand, using your legs to lift the load. Do not twist or bend your body while lifting.
Back pain and injuries Back pain after a trauma, such as an accident or fall may indicate a bone fracture or other injury. Disc degeneration, diseases, infections, and even inherited conditions can cause back pain.
Overweight people suffer more back pain Most common among people who are out of shape, especially weekend warriors who engage in vigorous activity after sitting around all week. Obesity stresses the back. Staying fit helps prevent back pain.
Poor Posture The longer your spine is not in alignment, the more pressure it receives. That pressure can create inflammation that leads to chronic back pain. If you have chronic back pain, adjusting your posture should be a priority.
Neck text Looking down at your phone can force up to 60 pounds of weight on your spine...
Long hours sitting Professional drivers Computer worker
Always sit up straight to prevent back pain? If you sit a lot, try this a few times a day: Lean back in your chair with your feet on the floor and a slight curve in your back. Even better: Try standing for part of the day, while on the phone or while reading work materials.
Pregnancy & Backache 50% of women experience low back pain during pregnancy. Factors: standing, sitting, forward bending, lifting, and walking aggravate the back pain Characteristic: radiating pain into the thigh and buttocks. Management: The avoidance of high impact, weight-bearing activities and extensive twisting with lifting, single-leg stance postures, stair climbing, and repetitive motions at or near the endranges of back or hip motion can ease the pain.
Warning signs Potentially life-threatening problem are bowel and/or bladder incontinence or progressive weakness in the legs. Severe back pain (such as pain that is bad enough to interrupt sleep) that occurs with other signs of severe illness (e.g. fever, unexplained weight loss) may also indicate a serious underlying medical condition.
Client Testimonals "My back is much better. It is not grabbing or aggravating any more. I would say it is 80% better. I can now sit without the fear of getting up. It is great. I am so much happier". ~ J. Rubin, Amsterdam, NL "My pain is so much better. It has been really good! It is 98% better. I have actually had no pain since last week". ~ Sophie, The Hague, NL

Treatment
Pain killers Pain killers only suppress the pain and do not treating the basic cause of sciatica. Constant use of pain killers lead to development of liver and kidney damage causing many undesirable signs and symptoms.
Surgery Valid reason?
Exercise Always consult your physician/physiotherapist before beginning any exercise program.
Exercise for your back pain Regular and proper exercise prevents back pain. Training back and belly muscles. Once the acute pain subsides, an exercise regimen may help prevent future recurrence of back pain.

Best position
Driving & Back pain Know your limit After long periods of driving your back is weaker and more susceptible to injury, so resist the temptation to bend and stretch. Take regular breaks to move around and do back stretches. Comfortably seated
Chiropractic/Physiotherapy can help back pain It is recommend that patients and doctors consider spinal manipulation -- either by a chiropractor/ physiotherapy or a massage therapist -- for patients with back pain
Stay in bed until back pain goes away?? Resting can help an acute injury or strain that causes back pain. A day or two in bed can make your back pain worse.
Sleep position
Sleep right A harder bed may not be better for your back. A recent study in Spine found that people who slept on softer beds reported less lower-back pain than those who snoozed on harder ones. Pillows: Yours shouldn t raise your head out of alignment with your spine. How to tell: If you re a back sleeper, your chin shouldn t press into your chest. If you re a side sleeper, it shouldn t curve up toward your shoulder.
Homeopathic management Homeopathy is one of the most important and commonly used therapy for back pain.
What people are saying! I was almost a year on bed rest, and now I am 85% pain free with your treatment. I really want to thank you Mehmood. It is a miracle. ~ Mr. Saeed, Utrect, NL "No more morphine, paracetamol, it is awesome. After a long time I can now move, sit, stand and walk. Thank You". ~ Mr. M. Ahsan, London, UK "Dear Mehmood, Would you believe that after 2 weeks of your remedy I am pain free. My sciatica is completely gone. I'm still in shock as to how fast homeopathy worked. Thank you so much." ~Miss. Linda, Leiden, NL
