As you know this is a state conference and keeping that in mind we have tapped the immense talent pool within the state to create a wonderful academic feast. Nashik is at its best in December. 6 About Nashik MENTCON has entered its Golden Jubilee period as we have completed flourishing 50 years of this matchless conference. We take great pride in announcing that this conference has always been supported with excellent academic content, well-re ned scienti c contributions and extensive research papers. This year we are bringing in the celebration of this vast conference in the city of Nashik. Nashik is one of the most important cities of Northern Maharashtra. It is said to be a part of the Golden Triangle of Maharashtra : Pune - Mumbai - Nashik. The city has become the center of attraction because of its beautiful surroundings and cool and pleasant climate. Nashik has a personality of its own due to its mythological, historical, social and cultural importance. Nashik is one of the world's holiest Hindu cities. Kumbhmela is held here once in 12 years along with four other cities in India. Nashik is well known in India as a gateway city to travel to Shirdi and Trambakeshwar. The city is called the "Wine Capital of India" as half of India's vineyards and wineries are located in Nashik. Wine tourism is the new buzzword in Nashik, around four hours from Mumbai.
