Opining regarding the association of a Veteran s hearing loss and tinnitus to noise exposure during service in the military Evaluation including otoscopy, immittance testing, and audiometry. Cochlear Americas, Centennial, CO Clinical Applications Specialist Provide clinical training and support to new and existing cochlear implant and Baha centers in Florida. Provides technical and product training for all cochlear implant personnel (implant centers, schools, hearing aid dispensers, and associated programs). Provides technical and clinical support via site visits, telephone, and correspondence. This support may include advising on device programming and candidacy issues, problem solving related to medical/surgical complications, and potential device problems or malfunctions. Responsible for device integrity testing and conveying the results to the managing audiologist or surgeon and the patient/family when appropriate. Understands the warranty policy and coordinates with customer service and reimbursement personnel in cases of device failures. Prepares the integrity test report and submits it to the Regulatory Affairs Manager on a timely basis. Organize, schedule and deliver presentations and training via seminars, forums, and workshops on candidate identification and screening. Provide information to patients, families, educational and allied health-care professionals, as appropriate. This includes information on product issues and competitive differences. Provides market intelligence and competitive information, which can be utilized in developing effective ways to approach current and potential customers. Works closely with regional customer care team members in the management of all accounts so that the Company is able to maximize its business. Provides timely input to AMIS on account activities. Responsible for timely input to CREM and the Regulatory Affairs Manager regarding complaints and complications. In particular, MDR reporting within 24 hours of being notified of such a complication or event. Attend and/or assist in various audiological conferences, practicums and candidate and professionals forums. This may include providing instruction on newly released hardware and software. Attend and/or assist in meetings or conferences for the hearing impaired population and healthcare professionals. Also responsible for in-servicing schools and newborn screening locations. Assist in various clinical projects, as appropriate. Participate in various meetings, both remotely by telephone and in person. This would include team or departmental conference calls, training and team meetings. May assist Clinical Studies with regulatory monitoring of investigational sites. Other duties as required. Territory Outreach Specialist Develop quarterly strategic plans targeted at increasing awareness, education and referrals within territory. Work closely with the regional field team to develop and execute plan. Assists in building relationships between implant centers and referring clinics and implementing plans targeting growth within this market segment.

3 Establishing, developing and fostering relationships with key referring audiology and dispensing practices. Plan and carry out Hearing Aid channel professional forums with assistance from customer care teams. Follow- up with attendees and build relationships. Take lead responsibility in attending, exhibiting and presenting at local, state, and national hearing aid meetings. Coordinates schedule with Customer Care teams to maximize attendance at hearing aid professional functions (HIS, ADA, AAA, AHAA, Costco, etc ). Responsible for leading the implementation of marketing strategies aimed at increasing referrals for cochlear implants and Baha. Strategies include but are not limited to executing in- office education on topics including screening patients for candidacy, conducting Baha demonstrations, optimizing hearing aid fittings on the contralateral ear, troubleshooting, and setting up service centers. Develops and manages within approved expense budget. Maintains a completely professional image when representing Cochlear Americas. Assist customer care team in identifying clinics for satellite programming pilot. Assist marketing in developing collateral for market development as needed. Other duties as assigned.
