1 Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program Funding Summary - Meeting # 3 The grant approvals made at today s funding meeting are preliminary in nature and are not final. They are contingent upon a final-stage audit which is conducted over the next several business days. The final stage audit re-examines each application for eligibility, errors, duplication, and compliance with grant program guidelines. It is possible that a grant approved in committee today may be withdrawn if an error or disqualifying condition is discovered during the audit. Following the final-stage audit, an approval letter will be sent to each grant recipient. Approval Letters will be sent via where possible. This letter is our official verification that a grant has been approved. Approval letters will be distributed June 13, 2014 and a complete listing of all grant approvals for the meeting will be posted by June 27, Tentative approval as of : Approval 2604 VFD HILL COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 ABBOTT VFD HILL COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 ALABAMA-COUSHATTA TRIBES OF TX POLK FIRE EQUIPMENT $ 6,975 ANNA FIRE DEPARTMENT COLLIN FIRE EQUIPMENT $ 2,736 APPLE SPRINGS VFD TRINITY COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 BAIRD VFD CALLAHAN COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 BASTROP FD BASTROP COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 BEAR CREEK VFD SAN JACINTO SLIP ON UNIT $ 18,000 BEEVILLE VFD BEE COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 BERTRAM VFD BURNET COMPUTERS 2nd $ 1,000 BIGFOOT VFD FRIO DRY HYDRANT $ 8,000 BOOKER VFD LIPSCOMB TRAINING LIBRARY $ 7,750
