4 A truly delightful hearing experience Since its introduction in 2011, Phonak CROS has lived up to the promise of all around hearing delight by offering tens of thousands of clients truly satisfying CROS and BiCROS solutions. My name is Don Gulock and I am 81 years old. I suffered from single-sided deafness for 25 years. As I got older, I developed a hearing loss in my other ear. Recently I was fitted with a Phonak CROS. It has raised my hearing capabilities to a new level. Not only can I hear better, it has none of the limitations I saw with my previous device. The Phonak CROS system is very comfortable. It is suitable to wear in and outdoors. In addition, it has enhanced capabilities to connect to accessories, such as the Phonak ComPilot and Phonak TVLink S, which help me interact and communicate better. The Phonak CROS system is wonderful and I, for one, am very grateful it has been developed. She has always had a severe hearing loss and has been wearing hearing aids for some years now, but the left one never really did anything for her. Her doctor placed them in her ears and I then whispered in her left ear I love you. She turned her head and said I love you too mom. This aid has given her, her confidence back. Her dad will be returning from deployment in the next few weeks and will be able to watch our baby hear for the first time.
