2 LASER DENTISTRY COURSE FACULTY The objective of this course, is to enable dentists to treat patients with laser adjuvants and laser based therapeutic methods, as highly qualified specialists, and in a responsible manner. The course balances the teaching of the medical aspects with extensive practical skill training on the dental application of laser systems. The close interdisciplinary cooperation between dentistry and physics is of significant importance in this field. In addition to teaching the latest research results, forward-looking problem solving to improve dental laser therapies is addressed. Treatment methods, the planning and preparation of treatments, the systematic organization of scientific and clinical findings, as well as independent, responsible conduct, are of central importance. Lectures, Hands-on pre-clinical training on Styrofoam models. Implant placement on patients by the participants under expert supervision Surgery on more than 10 patients in every batch Implant placement, Stage 2 surgery, Impressions and the prosthesis delivery done by the participants The first scheduled module, of 4 days, covers the lectures and implant placement on patients. The following 3 modules, of 1 or 2 days clinicals, can be opted by the participants as per their convenience. Now radiology has been expanding from the diagnosis field to image guidance of operative and surgical procedures. CBCT workshop would empower you with the ability to plan your implant placement, will encourage you to do the implant planning in a Sidexis software, will instill the confidence needed in implant planning on a CBCT program. All attendees to come with their own laptops with adequate memory and minimum 1 GB graphics card. 5 ADVANCED PROSTHETICS C O U R S E FA C U LT Y The course focuses on Full Mouth Rehabilitation (FMR) and Immediate loading with 4/6 implants. The All on 6 treatment concept was developed to provide edentulous patients with an eﬃcient and eﬀective restoration using 6 implants to support immediately loaded full arch prosthesis. The concept oﬀers good stability in atrophic jaws using tilted implants in minimum bone height regions and saves the need of advanced bone augmentation procedures and sinus lifts. The use of special transmucosal angled and straight multi-unit abutments or screw retained restorations, simplifies the prosthetic procedures in these cases.
