I finished high school in Sarajevo where I also graduated Medical School, Major-Dental Medicine, in In 1973, I was chosen to be an assistant at the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo and the same year I was engaged in advanced studies of paedriatic and preventive dental medicine. In December 1975 I passed the specialist trainning examination in the paedriatic and preventive dental medicine. For the purpose of further, in1975, I stayed six months at University Clinic in London (London Hospital Medical College). I holed my master'thesis at the School of Dental Medicine in Sarajevo and thus won the master'degree in In 1987, I holed my doctor'thesis at the School of Dental Medicine in Sarajevo. Being the author and co-author, I wrote four text books, took part in six research projects Medical del Mundo, Asoros Foundation and published over 100 scientific papers(pub. Med., Index Copernicus, Bilten Stomatologia BiH). In I was elected a University Professor and during the war period I published seven research papers abroad. In 1997 my new text book Preventive Dentistry in Pedodontic was published. From 1996 till 2006 I worked as senior expert in education at Federal Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport. There were many duties such as the delegate in CC-HER Council of Europe. The member of Advisory Forum ETF. Person in charge in UNEVOC. I participated many meetings and Conference in Europe about many kinds of education. For example: Strasbourg (CC-HER 5 th and 6 th Plenary). Prague (Conference of European Ministers of Education), Kiev (Tempus9, Turin(3 times ETF) etc.

4 I speak English, German, and Italian. Now, University Professor at Dental Medicine Faculty, supervising specialists. As a President of Dental Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina I organize Dental Congresses and International Symposiums. I am Editor in Chief of dental journal Bilten Stomatologia BiH ( wich is indexed by Index Copernicus. I am Conceler of Balkan Stomatological Society. I am Editorial Board member of 6 national and international dental journals. Personal interest: Classical music, theatre, skiing, languages, family events, travelling.

Maida Ganibegović-Selimović, DDS, MSc, PhD Bosnia and Herzegovina Re-election Presentation letter(motivating) I am President of Dental Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina since Our Association is member of FDI for 13 years and member of Balcan Stomatology Council for 12 years. I am member of EAPD European Academy of Paedriatic Dentistry and IADMFR. Our Association is regulary publishing Dental journal Bilten Stomatologia BH, indexed in Index Copernicus. I am Editor in Chief. In dental field we are working with national and international organization like University of Würzburg, Dental Chamber of Kerls Ruhe, Croatian Dental Asociation ( Zagreb), Serbian Dental Asociation ( Belgrade ), Macedonian Dental Asociation, Aristotel University ( Thessaloniki), Bulgarien Dental Asociation ( Sofia), Turkish Dental Asociation ( Ankara). My post graduate qualification: - Specialization in Paedriatic dentistry in London Hospital Medical College ( 1974) by Prof. Berman - Subspecialization in dental radiology at Kings College in London by Prof. David Smith, - Master degree at University of Sarajevo and doctors thesis at University of Sarajevo. I published over 120 scientific papers, 3 text books for students and managing 4 international and 7 national projects. I have huge network with dental scientist all over the world, for example 7 lecturers from FDI were invited speakers on our International Simposiums and Congresses, Prof dr Göran Koch (Sweden) and Prof. dr Mutlu Özcan (Switzerland), Dr.Harry Sam Selikowitz, Prof. dr. Georg Meyer(Germany), Dr. Mariam Margvelashvili, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hande Şar Sancakli, Dr. Duygu İlhan My motivation to be re-elected member of FDI Science Comittee is to continue scientific work, draft Policy Statementsfor the Science Committee, promovate WHO Oral Health and taking actively Part in discussion on FDI Policy Statements. I am very comunicative person. I like to work. I am speaking English, German and Italian language. As the member of Science Commitee I am increasing FDI CE programmes in my country and respective regions around as well as various topics such as patient care, dental practice, health care. This is be FDI s and my missions, too. I have long educational experience and I like to make others for LLL.
