This session will identify the signs of occlusal disease on the teeth and discuss how restorations allow the dentist to initiate treatment to minimize the effects and avoid restoration failures from occlusal trauma. However, their use in oral healthcare remains limited. This talk will review the emerging trends using probiotics to prevent early childhood caries together with some scientific evidence.
