1 Teeth in a Day Before and After Experiencing life from having severely bad teeth can be emotionally exhausting for most patients. Our dental team high degree of satisfaction in serving our patients with their Teeth in a Day new smile, especially when patient's tears of happiness is present, is difficult to put into words. Teeth in a Day before surgery The typical process begins with a complementary office consultation with Dr. Max Arocha to look at the patient s dental history, have a current smile examination and evaluation of a CT image. We would also look at any appropriate medical imaging like check-up full month x-rays. Dr. Arocha will consider patient s complaints and evaluate their source of pathology, the objective findings from our advanced 3D imaging, and then formulate treatment options including Teeth in a Day with All-on-4 treatment concept. Sometimes, surgery is not the first option. Patients sometimes come to us after trying many other options like conservative dental care, temporary dental therapy, and pain management. Every situation is completely different. However, the patient should feel certain that when dental implant surgery is being recommended, that is the best option for them to resolve their dental problem.
2 Dental implant before surgery Before the actual implant surgery, a patient can expect an office visit for records taken, as well as possible antibiotic therapy to better control infection or to ensure the correct diagnosis. As a personal preference, few patients may consider removable options as implant surgical alternatives to get better first. Sometimes they are ready for surgery at the time they consult. Teeth in a Day during surgery During the surgery, the patient is sedated or asleep and cared for by a team of professionals who perform these surgeries. Besides the dentist, there is an assistant who is highly qualified and skilled. Additionally, if the patient is asleep, there are usually multiple assistants in the room as well as an anesthesiologist. After surgery care will be provided while the patient is in recovery. Dental implant surgery can be a scary thing when the person comes on the day of the procedure. Our oral health care professionals make sure that the patient is relaxed and feels that they are being cared for appropriately. The dentist and staff will listen, care, show concern, and take all precautions into account to give the patient quality medical treatment. Dental implant before and after anesthesia The anesthesia used on a patient during surgery depends on the recommended procedure for the patient. Most advanced full mouth dental implant surgeries require some degree of sedation like deep sedation/general anesthesia, whether it is the upper teeth only or both upper and lower teeth at the same time. In some circumstances, some of the procedures can be done under local anesthetic. The main consideration in that situation is the patient s health and dental phobia. There is a difference between local and general anesthesia. With local anesthesia, the patient is awake and the doctor is able to communicate with them. It is possible that a patient may go under some mild sedation from an oral medication to put them in a more relaxed state while a local anesthetic is applied. With general anesthesia, the patient is not awake to observe or communicate. Usually, there are more than one medication that are involved in general anesthesia to make sure that the patient does not move while he or she is in surgery.
3 Typically, having the patient under anesthesia renders the patient unable to move and is less stressful to the patient. Sometimes, the noises and the sounds of surgery can be stressful to some individuals and by providing general anesthesia, we are improving the patient s experience. There is a benefit to reducing stress in the patient emotionally and physically. However, the main reason to use a local anesthetic is if the patient has other health complications such as weight. The patient is high risk and may not be a candidate for general anesthesia. If someone has had a prior heart issue, they may not be a candidate for general anesthesia. Teeth in a Day after surgery After implant surgery, the patient can expect to be in a recovery operatory room for after-surgery care. In the following hours and days, they must take it easy, have a soft diet, and cannot return to normal work-out and cardiovascular activities until the dentist gives them the approval to do so. Most importantly, a patient needs to recover fully. Our Teeth in a Day before and after patient care is consistent. There is not much deviation in terms of how we conduct ourselves, so it is unlikely that one patient has a vastly different experience from another. However, because of the factors we cannot control, such as when a patient suffers a complication from a potential risk, their experience is different from someone who had no complications. It is important to note that the potential for problems is low. Patient statements after Teeth in a Day treatment include: I can smile again! I can eat with confidence! I m dating again! I got a job now! I can taste my food again! I m no longer in pain!
