6 Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Dental College & Hospital Department of Public Health Dentistry Department of Public Health Dentistry organized a health education & treatment camp in the dept on 19 th & 20th Dec for children of PMC School Sutarwadi, Pashan. A total of 47 children underwent treatment for Oral Prophylaxis, Pit & Fissure sealent and Topical fluoride application. The program was very well appreciated by the school authorities and the parents. It was all possible due to the splendid efforts of the staff of PHD dept and posted interns. Also heartfelt thanks to our Principal Dr. Kshirsagar Sir for his constant encouragement and motivation.

11 BVDU Dental College & Hospital, Pune Dept. of Public Health Dentistry On occasion of World Cancer Day on 4 th February, 2018; the Department of Public Health Dentistry had organized a Cancer & Anti Tobacco Awareness program rally at Happy Streets Aundh. Dr Amol Jamkhande and the interns of Dept of PHD along with Dr. Chetan Bhat from Dept of Pediatric dentistry participated in the event. The rally was very well appreciated by the officials of Times of India & the public.

12 Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed To Be University) Dental College & Hospital, Pune Health Check up Camp The NSS unit along with the Department of Public Health Dentistry had organized a Dental Awareness and Check up camp on 22 nd February, 2018, at Chatrapati Shivaji Vidyamandir & Jr. College, Kanhe Phata. The camp was coordinated by Dr.Santosh Jadhav, Dr.Amol Jamkhande & Dr.Darshan Hiremutt. Interns from Dept of Public Health Dentistry gave Health Education and conducted the dental checkups of the children of 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th stds.

17 The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized and conducted a free dental check up and health awareness camp at RAMBHAU MHALGI SCHOOL, KATRAJ on 29/06/2018. This dental check up and health awareness camp was conducted for the school children. A total of 327 patients were examined.

22 The Department of Public Health Dentistry organized and conducted a free Dental Checkup and Health Awareness Camp at Aaryan s World School, AMBEGAON BK. on 25/06/2018. This Dental Checkup and Health Awareness Camp was conducted for the school kids of senior KG. A total of 91 kids were examined.kids were given awareness about dental hygiene, demonstrated tooth brushing techniques and were appropriately counseled about the 5 Golden Rules.

This Dental Checkup and Health Awareness Camp was conducted for the school kids from std. 1-4 th. A total of 274 kids were examined.kids were given awareness about dental hygiene and were appropriately counseled.

This Dental Checkup and Health Awareness Camp was conducted for the school kids from std. 1-4 th. A total of 284 kids were examined.kids were given awareness about dental hygiene and were appropriately counseled.
