The first patient was a -yearold woman, who was referred from another department because of mass in the left buccal mucosa corresponded to the mandibular second molar. In the intraoral examination, the lesion was well-defined, elastic soft pediculate mass, and measured mm. The overlying mucosa showed smooth surface and light yellowish color. She had no spontaneous pain and tenderness. Clinical diagnosis was a benign tumor of the buccal mucosa, and complete resection was performed under local anesthesia. Histopathological diagnosis was a fibrolipoma. The second patient was a -year-old woman, who visited to our department because she had noticed painless swelling in the right oral floor on the day before her first medical examination. In the intraoral examination, the lesion was well-defined, elastic soft swelling, and measured mm. The overlying mucosa showed smooth surface and yellowish color. She had no spontaneous pain, tenderness and disturbance of salivary flow. Clinical diagnosis was a lipoma, and enucleation of tumor was performed under local anesthesia. Histopathological diagnosis was a simple lipoma. Postoperative courses of two patients were not eventful. Key words : lipoma, simple lipoma, fibrolipoma
