3 MEDICAL CLINICS (PUBLICITY) REGULATIONS BACKGROUND The Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (PHMC) (Publicity) Regulations (2004) sets out broad principles on how licensed healthcare institutions should publicise their services in an ethical and professional manner. In view of the rapid changes in technology and services over the last decade, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has decided to review and clarify the Regulations. As part of the review, MOH would like to seek the views of healthcare professionals, advertising watchdog authorities and members of the advertising industry on the proposed amendments to the Regulations and changes to the enforcement approach. DETAILS OF THE FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION SESSION MOH will be holding three engagement sessions for this purpose.
