2 Glass Ionomer Self Cure Materials Regular set working time: 5 minutes. Fast Set working time: 3 minutes. DO NOT DESICCATE! GI s are hydrophilic! USE WATER on Instrument to manipulate. Late over-manipulation can reduce cohesive strength of self cure materials. Glass Ionomer Self Cure Materials Finishing tips: o o o Immediately apply a VARNISH (blow dry) or an Unfilled Resin (light cure) Finish with water spray - superfine diamond bur, silicone point and polishing strips After final set, seal with a VARNISH or an Unfilled Resin (light cure) to prevent initial sensitivity to moisture and for additional acid and wear resistance Introducing EQUIA Forte
