Referral list: Below is a list of orthodontists our office has a professional relationship with. You may choose anyone from this list based on your personal preferences. 2. Getting Ready: In preparation for your orthodontist visit, it would be very helpful to visit the website of the orthodontist you choose. Extraction/Oral Surgery IN OUR OFFICE: If the orthodontist recommends teeth extractions for orthodontic reasons, please note that most routine extractions can be performed in the comfort of our pediatric dental office utilizing nitrous oxide, local anesthesia and TLC! 4. Extraction/Oral Surgery Outside our office: Some oral surgical procedures are not performed in our office and examples of those procedures are: removal of impacted primary or permanent teeth, expose and bond of un-erupted teeth and wisdom teeth removal. The preceding procedures may require the help of an oral surgeon and our office will make the referral after consulting with the orthodontist as needed. For The Orthodontist Office 1. Panoramic x rays: All patients referred for orthodontic evaluation will have a digital panoramic x ray taken in our office. We always a copy of the x ray to the parent. Please request the parent to forward you a copy via Extraction request: Our office will perform the majority of routine extractions for orthodontic treatment. We request the orthodontist s office to fax a copy of the Extraction Request to Fax number or a scanned copy of the Extraction Request to info@banajidds.com. 3.
