2 Implant Mountless Package Handling Each implant is packaged in a carton box labelled Mountless. Two peel-off labels inside the carton can be affixed directly to the patient chart. The implants are delivered in a sterile double vial. Open the outer colored cap and drop the inner vial onto a sterile field. The inner vial is sealed with a silicon cap. Cover screw Lift off the silicon cap. The cap encloses a cover screw.

3 Implant Mountless Package Handling There are four different options to insert Adin Mountless Implant, using: 1. Surgical Torque Ratchet 2. Surgical Wrench Ratchet 3. Surgical Driver 4. Handpiece with a drilling unit Depending on the situation and instruments, use one of the following methods: Connect the Adin Implant Driver according to the implant platform (see the tools list) to the Surgical Wrench Adapter or to the Torque Ratchet Adapter. In all cases, make sure the implant driver is fully seated. Implant Orientation When inserting the implant, align one of the dots on the Implant Driver with the buccal / facial wall. This positions the internal hexagon to ensure optimal prosthetic abutment positioning. In case of difficulty to take out the implant driver, slightly rotate it counter before lifting it up.

4 1. Using the Adin Surgical Torque Ratchet RS6111 Adin Surgical Torque Ratchet Connect the Torque Ratchet Adapter (RS6111) to the Torque ratchet. Connect the Implant driver to the Torque ratchet adaptor. Pick up the implant by applying light pressure on implant driver. The maximum tightening torque for the implant is 50 Ncm and may be measured with Adin Surgical Torque Ratchet. Attention: Over tightening may compromise the integrity of the internal connection and over compress the surrounding bone, compromising osseointegration.

5 2. Using the Adin Surgical Wrench Ratchet RS6100 Adin Surgical Wrench Ratchet Connect the Surgical wrench adapter (RS100) to the wrench ratchet. Connect the Implant driver to the surgical wrench adapter. Pick up the implant by applying light pressure on implant driver. Start inserting the implant into the osteotomy. The maximum tightening torque for the implant is 50 Ncm and may be measured with Adin Surgical Torque Ratchet. 6 3. Using the Adin Surgical Driver RS7001 Adin Surgical Driver Connect the wrench adapter Implant Driver (RS7001) to the surgical driver. Pick up the implant. Start inserting the implant into the osteotomy. Attention: Over tightening may compromise the integrity of the internal connection and over compress the surrounding bone, compromising osseointegration. The Surgical Driver is designed to be used while grasped with finger pressure only. Use of full palm grip can yield over 200 Ncm insertion torque.

7 4. Using the Adin Drilling Unit Connect the Implant driver to the handpiece drilling unit. Adin Drilling Unit Pick up the implant by applying light pressure on implant driver. Start inserting the implant into the osteotomy using low speed (20-30 rpm). The drilling unit may be set to the maximum 50 Ncm insertion torque.
