The Restorative Forum is a 3-day Train the Trainer program on the latest DENTSPLY restorative and endodontic products for a small group of experts in restorative dentistry.

1 The Restorative Forum is a 3-day Train the Trainer program on the latest DENTSPLY restorative and endodontic products for a small group of experts in restorative dentistry. The Forum is held in Konstanz, Germany, where the DENTSPLY DET REY division, host of the event, is based. 1 Objectives To obtain information on new DENTSPLY restorative and endodontic products and to get trained in how to use them To be able to lecture/teach about these products and to give courses to students and GDPs To enhance the relationship with the national DENTSPLY organization and the DENTSPLY DETREY R&D team 2 Contents Focus topics and products to be informed and trained 2011 are SDR and post-endo restorations. This includes ChemFil Rock, XP BOND, Xeno V (+), SmartLite, Spectrum, Esthet.X, Dyract, QuiXfil, Ceram.X, Core & Post System. 3 Speakers The presentations in Konstanz will be mainly given by members of the DENTSPLY research team. Special guest is Dr. Marco Martignoni, an internationally recognized expert in endodontics, founder of the Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry and honorary member of the French Society of Endodontics. Professor Dr. Thomas Attin, PD Dr. Wolfgang Buchalla, Dr. Tobias Tauböck, Dr. Annette Wiegand, and Dr. Florian Wegehaupt will be presenters and instructors during the program at the Department of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Cariology of the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Hands-on course with practical exercises will cover Class IV (dentin/enamel concept) and Class II (eggshell technique) direct restorations. As a former Dominican monastery and place of birth of Graf Zeppelin, it has an atmosphere unique of its kind. Only a few of the rooms are still as small as a monastery cell; comfort has considerably improved since Rooms are nowadays equipped with cable TV, IDD telephone, fax outlet, and hair dryer, - but not air-conditioned, since the building is a national monument The Lake Constance area is known for its rich insect life. For all other parts of the program, business casual is the recommended attire. 9 Travel and ground transportation 9.1 Travel to Konstanz The sole airport of destination is Zurich-Kloten (Switzerland), airport code: ZRH DENTSPLY country organizations are pleased to make the travel arrangements for their delegates. 9.2 Visa requirements Depending on the country of origin, a Schengen visa for Germany and Switzerland may be needed. Early submission of visa application is recommended. DENTSPLY country organizations are pleased to assist their delegates with visa application. DENTSPLY Konstanz will be pleased to send business invitation letters. For this purpose, the following data should be made available: Delegate name, address, and fax number or address Passport data Duration of stay Postal addresses with fax numbers of the German and Swiss embassies, respectively (as some embassies request that the invitation be sent directly to them) For some countries, it is necessary to have a voucher of medical insurance when applying for a visa.
