3 SLiK Knotless Screw-In Anchors SLiK is a knotless screw-in anchor that can be used for a variety of applications that require the fixation of soft tissue to bone. SLiK anchors are ideally suited for indications around the shoulder, such as rotator cuff repair. This anchor can be used in both lateral and medial row fixation. Combining SLiK with Parcus Braid Suture Tape helps to create an ideal knotless doublerow rotator cuff repair. SLiK anchors provide a step-saving alternative to conventional knotted suture anchors and eliminate the knot stacks that can be associated with soft tissue irritation or impingement. A Suture Guide, which is located on the distal end of the proprietary inner shaft of the driver, is designed to hold sutures deep into a bone socket. It also allows the surgeon to independently adjust suture tension prior to inserting the SLiK anchor. Suture tension is held constant during anchor insertion. An Activation Button on the inserter handle allows the anchor to be advanced into position using a simple, one-handed technique. Recommended for use in both large and small-joint repairs. 4 SLiK Fix Screw-In Tenodesis System SLiK Fix is a screw ideally suited for tenodesis procedures. The design of SLiK Fix screws provides procedural advantages compared to other fixation methods. The Tendon Washer and Targeting Tip allow one to engage and advance the tendon to the appropriate depth into the bone socket and assess tension of the tendon prior to inserting the screw. The Tendon Washer provides an increased surface area to prevent tendon pull-back. The SLiK Fix driver features an Activation Button that enables a simple, onehanded technique to advance the fixation screw. Recommended for use in both large and small-joint repairs. 16 Graft Fixation System Ultimate (GFS Ultimate) The GFS Ultimate is a top-of-the-line suspensory fixation device that combines the convenience of adjustability with the strength and stiffness of conventional fixed length loop devices. The proprietary Parcus design consists of an UHMWPE loop that is infinitely adjustable between 12mm and 60mm allowing it to fit in virtually any length tunnel. The loop comes affixed with a choice of either standard or large titanium buttons. 25 PEEK CF is made of PEEK-OPTIMA (by Invibio) combined with 30% carbon fiber filler. The compound is comprised of short carbon fibers that are dispersed within a PEEK-OPTIMA polymer matrix. The resulting material has enhanced physical strength, nearly twice as much as natural PEEK, and has mechanical characteristics much closer to cortical bone than natural PEEK, PLLA or titanium. The added mechanical strength in PEEK CF plays a key role in addressing the challenges of insertion torque in screw-in devices such as suture anchors and interference screws.
