1 TRANSFER OF THE FUNCTIONALISED TEMPORARY transfer of the functionalized temporary from the oral cavity to the verticulator What you need for this working: EQUIPMENT VERTYS SPLIT CAST & GUM VERTYS DYNAMO BLOCK VERTYS ARTIC LINK 1F + 1M FURBO PLEXI APOLIX AR.GO FURBO ALU SMALL APOLIX CU-BA (Curing Basket) VERTYS SIRIN- GHE + HANDLE CONSUMABLES VERTYS TEM- PLUS LIQUID COLD VERTYS ORANGE PLUS VERTYS PRECI- SION VERTYS TEM- PLUS MONOMASSA MM VERTYS ORANGE SPECIAL LUBE VERTYS EASY PUTTY 5 Kg VERTYS RETARD 1/5 E. info@
2 INTRO Transfer of the temporary from the oral cavity to the FURBO PLEXI verticulator Duplication of temporary therapeutic elements with FURBO ALU BIG / SMALL muffle and FURBO PLEXI verticulator 1.PASSAGE IN THE DENTAL CLINIC Dental Clinic Set FURBO ALU SMALL muffle VERTYS ORANGE PLUS Silicone VERTYS EASY PUTTY Silicone VERTYS PRECISION Silicone VERTYS ORANGE SPECIAL LUBE Insulator Before the final impression, and before cementation of the temporary circular, take a chewing report, as usual, with a very stable material, such as Luxabite, front and back Proceed with the provisional scementation If the temporary was divided, join it, inserted into the oral cavity, with a fluid composite Take the FURBO ALU SMALL muffle and detach the red split plate Turn the crowns over and fill them with the silicone VERTYS PRECISION PICTURE 1 (leave the cement inside the crowns) Knead 60 g of VERTYS ORANGE PLUS, fit it inside the muffle shaft and sink the temporary, filled with VERTYS PRE-CISION PICTURE 2 if possible put everything in a heat press or pressure cooker: - without water - at temperature 0 C / zero degrees centigrade (with thermostat deactivated) - at the pressure of at least 2 atmospheres, maximum 6 atmospheres for 5/7 min. In this way we will obtain a silicone model Cut the model with a scalpel in order to leave 1mm of edge as shown in PICTURE 3 Insulate the silicone model with VERTYS ORANGE SPECIAL LUBE PICTURE 4 Kead the VERTYS ORANGE PLUS silicone, (15 g A + 15 g B) and completely cover the molded PICTURE 5Impastare il silicone VERTYS ORANGE PLUS, (15 g A + 15 g B) e coprire completamente il modellato PICTURE 5 Insert the model covered with VERTYS ORANGE PLUS, in a heat press or pressure cooker - without water - at temperature 0 C / zero degrees centigrade (with thermostat deactivated) - at the pressure of at least 2 atmospheres, maximum 6 atmospheres for 5/7 min. PICURE 6 Remove all possible thicknesses on the rods, in order to avoid waste of VERTYS EASY PUTTY N.B. It is very important to put the same thicknesses on the rods above the cover in order to close the muffle with the locking nuts PICTURE 7 Now cover the VERTYS ORANGE PLUS now with the VERTYS EASY PUTTY Fit approximately half of the dough to the inside of the FURBO ALU SMALL muffle cover and use the remaining VERTYS EASY PUTTY for silicone model boxing Insert the muffle cover in the appropriate guide rods and compress until the cover is in contact with the spacers on the 3 guide rods Immediately lock the muffle cover with the appropriate locking nuts Tighten with the VERTYS DYNAMO BLOCK torque nut First compress the escaped silicone from the upper muffle louver and, immediately afterwards, the leaked silicone at the model base In this way, the silicone is adapted to the model itself and a perfect seal This phase must be carried out with the utmost care to prevent the resin from escaping when it is subsequently injected For a perfect closure of the Alu Small muffle, the spacers must not rotate on the guide rods Wait for the VERTYS EASY PUTTY to harden for about 7 minutes Once hardened, unscrew the nuts and remove the muffle cover from the 3 guide rods Take the silicone model out of the mask-mold into the muffle cover The mold and the counter mold in silicone have thus been obtained PICTURE 8 In the meantime the technician has prepared the abutments. Using temporary half with the first occlusal relationship on the antagonist teeth, record the occlusion with suitable Luxabite material on the abutments After these steps, the technician will have in the laboratory: Definitive impression - Facial Arch Occlusal registration on the temporaries Mold and counter mold of the temporary silicone, for injection and duplication Written report on any changes to be made on the shape of the teeth Patient s photo To lengthen the processing time of our Putty silicones, we recommend the use of the liquid # VERTYS RETARD. A drop corresponds to one more minute of processing. 2/5 E. info@
3 ATTENTION: assumes no responsibility for the final result, if you do not use the consumables of the VERTYSYSTEM line. The times, quantities and temperatures of this protocol refer only to these materials. The VERTYS SILICONI LINE has been specifically designed for the use of Systematics, allowing to replicate the artefact at any time We therefore recommend archiving and storing the masks The technician may have his own FURBO ALU SMALL muffle in the studio as it is necessary to have only the mold and the counter silicone mold.i All the silicone recordings made in the various VERTYSYSTEM equipment are interchangeable. 4 2. PASSAGE IN THE ODONTOTECHNIC LABORATORY Impressions arrive in the laboratory already disinfected and accompanied by prescription of work, data from the doctor s office and references of the patient or, alternatively, an identification code The operator responsible for acceptance checks the completeness of the data, records the work and completes the technical sheet The operator verifies the material with which the impressions were taken and establishes the type of material to be used to develop the models. Class IV gypsum or polyurethane resin is recommended Mix the under vacuumed gypsum, in the proportions and times indicated by the manufacturer An electric vibrator can be used to cast the impression The plaster base of the model must be made on the special Split Cast of the VERTYSYSTEM Systematics. Alternatively, you can use the VERTYS ARTIC LINK M base (see specific instructions) The developed model is disengaged, trimmed and squared Position the models in the articulator using the VERTYS ARTIC LINK F plates Place the centric rod on the 0 A. PREPARATION OF THE FURBO ALU SMALL MUFFLE Take the FURBO ALU SMALL muffle with the mold and the counter silicone mold inserted With the supplied reamers drill two holes in the silicone at the two ends of the molding, starting from the inside of the mask-to-mold until it comes out of the muffle cover In this way the inlet and outlet channels for the injection of the acrylic resin are made Entrance hole with large reamer # Output hole with small reamer # Using the correct reamer ensures that the hole diameter exactly matches the diameter of the syringe tip that will be used for resin injection The outlet hole must always be made with the small reamer With a scalpel, perform a flaring on the silicone in correspondence with both holes Two grooves will be created which will serve to contain the resin reserve when it is injected Immediately lock the muffle cover with the appropriate locking nuts Tighten with the VERTYS DYNAMO BLOCK torque nut B.RESIN PREPARATION FOR VERTYS TEMPLUS PROVISIONS Weigh the necessary amount of powder and liquid of the acrylic resin VERTYS TEMPLUS in the proportion 1: 2 (example: 1 g of liquid - 2 g of powder) Keep in mind that for an element of medium size, 0.5 g of powder are sufficient. Pour the liquid into a special container Then pour the powder and mix with the liquid for at least 10 seconds Cover the mixture with a lid and allow the resin to cure for 10 seconds. approximately, until it assumes a filamentous consistency Mix again for 5 seconds. and pour the resin into a 20 cc disposable syringe, making sure to close the exit hole with a finger Insert the plunger and invert the syringe. Push the plunger until air bubbles escape Continue to exert pressure on the plunger until a small leakage of the VERTYS TEMPLUS resin from the tip of the syringe When the resin takes on a filamentous consistency it is ready for injection NB: The maturation and injection times can vary, even considerably, depending on the environmental conditions C. INJECTION PROCEDURE OF ACRYLIC RESIN Hold the muffle at an angle of 45 with one hand so that the entry hole is at the bottom and the outlet hole at the top This will avoid the inclusion of bubbles during the injection phase. Now insert the tip of the syringe into the lower entry hole and slowly push the plunger until the resin comes out of the upper hole Always keep the syringe plunger under pressure, straighten the flask, place it on the work bench and continue the injection and thrust phase Using a spatula, remove the resin gradually, as it emerges from the smallest hole until the resin takes on an opaque and consistent appearance. It is important not to remove all the resin, but leave the groove, previously created, full. Slowly withdraw the syringe while continuing to apply pressure As soon as the syringe tip has escaped from the hole, immediately create the second reservoir. The injection is completed and the two reserve buttons are now visible at the two inlet and outlet wells D.ACRYLIC RESIN POLYMERIZATION Insert the crafty ALU SMALL muffle in the heat press or pressure cooker paying close attention to: 1. The water inside the heat press must be at room temperature 2. The water level must not exceed the muffle cover (it is very important that the two inlet and outlet holes of the resin are not covered with water) 3. The pressure must not exceed 2 atmospheres 4/5 E. info@
5 For temperature and cure times follow the instructions for use of the VERTYS TEMPLUS resin Once cured, remove the muffle from the heat press or pressure cooker Remove the two resin buttons at the grooves, open them with the aid of a plaster knife or cutting them with a dia-mantled disc Open the muffle and remove the product from the silicone mold-template Remove the two input and output plugs with a cutter At this point cut the collars and shell out the duplicate of the temporary. This way you do not risk damaging the master model Place the temporary duplicate, discharged into the crowns, on the antagonist model mounted in the articulator, using the first recordings taken between the teeth. By gently closing the articulator, check that there is no interference between the crowns and the abutments Now fill the crowns with VERTYS PRECISION and close the articulator In this way we have reported the duplicate in the articulator, without damaging the abutments Make any changes to the resin teeth with any wax Completed and finished the occlusal and incisal wax modeling, bring the model on the verticulator, and always with the VERTYS ORANGE PLUS silicone, record the third incisal From now on we will work almost exclusively in the FURBO PLEXI Verticulator With this silicone registration in the Verticulator lid, we will perform the following operations: Guided construction of the metal girder Construction of the third incisal on the metal, with resin from provisionals, for the patient test Registration with VERTYS PRECISION silicone of any modifications during the metal test Metal grinding Molding of ceramics or composite Thanks to this technique, our initial project will be respected by all operators from the beginning to the end of the work. Many mistakes will be avoided and the printed porcelain article will be faithful to the project, free of bubbles and cracks and with a superior chromatic quality. E.
