2 3 rd ISM Symposium on Skin Microbiota 2018 Towards a New Era in Dermocosmetics June 15, Paris, France The International Society of Microbiota (ISM) organizes three meetings in 2018, one ISM annual congress and two symposiums: 6 th ISM World Congress on Targeting Microbiota, annual meeting organized in October st ISM Symposium on Microbiota & Food, organized in Paris in June 14, rd ISM Symposium on Skin Microbiota, organized in Paris in June 15, After the successful previous symposiums dedicated to skin microbiota organized in 2015 and 2017 in Paris at University Pierre & Marie, the International Society of Microbiota decided to organize the 3 rd ISM symposium on Skin Microbiota: Towards a new era in dermocosmetics which will be held in Paris, in June 15, The aim of Skin Microbiota 2018 will be to discuss the latest advances in skin microbiota, its characterization, its role and clinical impact. More time will be allocated to discuss the practical issues and formulation aspects. We will highlight the latest clinical studies, mechanistic and innovations related to skin microbiota. Among Skin Microbiota 2018 sessions: General introduction on Skin Microbiota 2018: Recent Advances & Perspectives Human Skin Microbiota & Skin Pathologies o Clinical interventions with specific probiotics o Skin microbiota as a biomarker in skin diseases Skin Microbiota 2018 Practical Issues & Formulation o How to analyse and sequence skin microbiota? o Formulation with probiotics or formulation with metabolites? o Efficiency of beneficial effects of probiotics on skin microbiota variability and diversity o Skin care products, deodorants, antiseptics, conservators in the formulation: What is the impact on skin microbiota? o Presentation of clinical studies to undertake and demonstrate the beneficial effects Presentation of the latest innovations related to skin microbiota A discussion will be organized about Skin & Microbiota Formulation: What can we use in terms of probiotics, probiotics or metabolites? What are the targets in terms of marketing of these products: skin care, skin diseases, skin ageing Call for abstracts and innovations: The Scientific Committee of International Society of Microbiota invites all scientists, academics and industrials to present their last advances on scientific research, devices development, formulation, sequencing products and others skin microbiota-related fields. We will welcome in particular clinical innovations with biomarkers or intervention studies. Moreover, more time will be allocated to present new probiotics (strains), alone or in finish products.
