The pump that gets updated, not outdated. The simple-to-use t:slim X2 TM Insulin Pump is the smallest pump available and the only pump capable of remote feature updates. 1,2 It is also the only available pump that is compatible with Dexcom G5 Mobile continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), 3 approved to let you make treatment decisions without pricking your finger. * * CGM-based treatment requires fingersticks for calibration; may result in hypoglycemia if calibration not performed, when taking acetaminophen, or if symptoms/expectations do not match CGM readings. The Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM transmitter can only be paired with one medical device (either a Dexcom receiver or t:slim X2 Pump) and one consumer device (phone or tablet) at the same time.
Using CGM with an insulin pump can provide better glucose control than multiple daily injections or insulin pump therapy alone. 4
So simple. Touchscreen technology makes the t:slim X2 TM Insulin Pump simple to learn and simple to use, so whether you re new to pump therapy or experienced, the t:slim X2 Pump was designed for you. Try it for yourself on your smart device today! 5 Chris diagnosed in. Smallest Available Pump 1 2 in. So small. The beauty of the t:slim X2 Pump is that it is up to 38% smaller than other pumps, 1 yet it can hold a surprisingly large amount of insulin up to 300 units. All thanks to our Micro-delivery technology and an innovative, flat insulin cartridge design.
So green. The t:slim X2 Pump s rechargeable battery can be charged from the wall, the car, or a computer without interrupting insulin delivery. A charge lasts up to 5 days, and since you won t be throwing away expensive disposable batteries, it s also easy to be green. Madison diagnosed 2013
So durable. Parker diagnosed 2012 The t:slim X2 Pump is ultra-strong the aluminum case is very durable and light. The touchscreen is made of high-grade, shatter-resistant glass. Plus, the t:slim X2 Pump is watertight, 5 so you don t have to worry about it accidentally getting wet.
Simple basal dosing. You can personalize your t:slim X2 Pump to deliver a steady amount of insulin to meet your changing needs throughout the day and night. This is called basal delivery. Kerri diagnosed 1996 Simple bolus dosing. The t:slim X2 Pump allows you to deliver your mealtime insulin, also called a bolus, using a simple, color touchscreen and an integrated bolus calculator with carb adding capabilities.
BACK Personal Profiles Weekday ON Weekend OFF Gym OFF Soccer OFF NEW 6 Unique Profiles Simple to personalize. You can create up to 6 different Personal Profiles, and within each profile, you have up to 16 different time segments that allow individual basal rates, insulin-to-carb ratios, correction factors, and target blood sugars. You can also name your profiles whatever you want, so it s easy to know which one to use.
Simple reporting. The t:slim X2 Pump allows you to view your insulin delivery history right on the screen. You can also quickly upload your data using the t:connect Diabetes Management Application on either a Mac or a PC, and generate reports for more in-depth analysis with your healthcare provider.
Remote feature updates. The pace of innovation in diabetes technology has been moving faster and faster. Tandem is the only company that allows you to remotely update features on your insulin pump using a personal computer. Remote software updates have the potential to allow t:slim X2 Pump users access to future features as they are approved by the FDA. 2
How do insulin pumps work? Like a healthy pancreas, insulin pumps deliver only one type of insulin. Using your personal settings, the insulin is delivered both continuously (basal) and in larger doses for meals (bolus). Insulin delivery is personalized using a simple touchscreen. The insulin flows through thin, flexible tubing, available in a variety of lengths. The tubing is attached to an adhesive patch, which holds a short, fine tube (cannula) that is placed under the skin. This infusion site is changed every 2 to 3 days.
How does CGM work? Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) provides real-time glucose readings every five minutes throughout the day and night, notifying you of highs and lows so you can take action. Transmitter Glucose data is sent wirelessly to your t:slim X2 Pump and compatible smart device via Bluetooth technology. CGM data can also be sent to a smart device for viewing and sharing with friends, family and caregivers. 6 Small Sensor A discrete sensor located just underneath your skin measures your glucose levels for up to 7 days.
Now with Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM integration. The t:slim X2 Insulin Pump is the only available pump that integrates with Dexcom G5 Mobile Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), which is the only CGM approved to let you make treatment decisions without pricking your finger. * Known for exceptional accuracy and performance, Dexcom is the #1 preferred CGM brand. 7 Clayton diagnosed 1996 Programmable high and low alert settings notify you when your glucose is above or below your personal target range. Color-coded trend lines make it easy to spot trends at a glance. B 100% 235 u INSULIN ON BOARD: OPTIONS 10:20 AM March 5, u 1:09 hrs BOLUS 124 mg/dl 3 HRS Glucose value approved for making treatment decisions without a fingerstick. Trend arrow helps you catch high and low glucose events before they happen. * CGM-based treatment requires fingersticks for calibration; may result in hypoglycemia if calibration not performed, when taking acetaminophen, or if symptoms/expectations do not match CGM readings.
102 Glucose is more than just a number. Even if you test as often as you re supposed to, there is a lot of information that you just can t get from a simple fingerstick. CGM provides up to 288 readings per day, giving you insights that fingersticks can t match. B 100% 235 u INSULIN ON BOARD: OPTIONS 10:20 AM March 5, u 1:45 hrs BOLUS 102 mg/dl 3 HRS B 100% 235 u INSULIN ON BOARD: OPTIONS 10:20 AM March 5, u 0:00 hrs BOLUS 102 mg/dl 3 HRS B 100% 235 u INSULIN ON BOARD: OPTIONS 10:20 AM March 5, u 2:30 hrs BOLUS 102 mg/dl 3 HRS If your glucose continues to fall at the current rate, you could be below 60 mg/dl in the next 15 minutes. Your glucose could move up or down by 15 mg/dl over the next 15 minutes, but you are holding steady. If your glucose continues to rise at the current rate, you could be close to 150 mg/dl in the next 15 minutes. When it comes to managing your glucose, it s just as important to know where you re going as it is to know where you are.

The t:slim X2 Insulin Pump is intended for the subcutaneous delivery of insulin, at set and variable rates, for the management of diabetes mellitus in persons requiring insulin. The t:slim X2 Insulin Pump can be used solely for continuous insulin delivery and as part of the t:slim X2 System to receive and display continuous glucose measurements from the Dexcom G5 Mobile Sensor and Transmitter. The t:slim X2 System also includes continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) indicated for the management of diabetes. The Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM is designed to replace fingerstick blood glucose testing for diabetes treatment decisions. The t:slim X2 System aids in the detection of episodes of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, facilitating both acute and long-term therapy adjustments, which may minimize these excursions. Interpretation of the t:slim X2 System results should be based on the trends and patterns seen with several sequential readings over time. The t:slim X2 System is indicated for use in individuals 6 years of age and greater. The t:slim X2 System is intended for single patient use and requires a prescription.
