I wish that I had taken the course sooner. The faculty were excellent...loved the ARS...adds some interest to courses. Everything was excellent! Best course I have ever attended in my 25 years experience as a diabetes educator! Absolutely phenomenal job by all! The case presentations/panel discussions were very helpful in putting the lectures into perspective. Really enjoyed the case-based presentations, interaction between advances in science and practical management of diabetes. You succeeded in bringing diabetes research and treatment up to date, including about-to-be-published work. Speakers were very accomplished and knowledgeable. I am in a setting where we are steeped in diabetes education, practice, and research and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and usefulness of the majority of the presentations. It was a comprehensive course, all aspects in the care of diabetes were covered, from top to bottom, and the speakers were knowlegeable and experts in their field. I really liked the case presentations. This was the most oustanding, comprehensive and well-organized course I have attended this year. Copyright 2010 by. All rights reserved.
