31 LEADER Summary Liraglutide reduced the risk of major CV events in patients with T2DM at high CV risk. MACE superiority driven by reduced CV DEATH like EMPA REG Time to separation of curves was early (days to months) with SGLT2i and separation was much slower separation (months to years) with GLP-1 RA (MACE and All-Cause Mortality). It appears unlikely that the CV risk reduction with liraglutide can be fully explained by the observed differences in HbA1c, body weight, SBP and lipids
