2 1. Set up: a. Cueing foot bar setup: i. Gently lift out of the gear in a BALANCED way by pulling evenly from OUTSIDE of bar ii. Always lift in the direction that the footbar is pointing iii. Make a habit of standing in FRONT of the machine to teach footbar technique iv. It will only slide in the forward setting v. Drop into gear by aligning the tab, NOT the bar, to gear b. Footbased transition (int/adv only) c. Strap adjustments i. Pulley system organized by silver tab ii. Reset on long straps shoulder blocks d. Headrest adjustment e. Jumpboard set-up if applicable f. Shoulder block set up g. Platform foot strap setup h. High and low springs i. Secret hidden row of pegs underneath standing platform- makes subtle spring weight adjustment i. Know your audience i. Caution with footbar in open classes, never in foundations 2. Footbar Positions a. Regular placement i. Classical setting dictated by height/leg length b. Moving position i. (past vertical to slant away from you if you re standing in front of bar/standing platform) should glide easily c. 1: Vertical in regular d. 2: Vertical in center of carriage e. 3: Vertical directly over shoulder blocks f. 4: Vertical midway between risers and carriage g. 5: Vertical at top of machine

Bird dog 4. Infinity 2 Choreography a. Russian splits or backsplits + rotation/flexion/extension (1 B spring) b. Bend and stretch plank or high knee stretch facing front (1 B spring) i. Neutral/flexion ii. Pelvic rotation c. Elephant (1 B spring) i. Same as classical, pull carriage under footbar in ii. Flatback using arms for shoulder flexion iii. Roundback with shoulders staying over wrists move legs d. Arm to leg jumps (1 Y) i. Jump to teaser arm push ii. Jump to rise pull ups 5. Infinity 3 Choreography a. Pull ups (prep for pull ups on 4) with big range of motion, full arm extension with focus on pushing down (1B spring) i. Wide/narrow arms ii. Pull up + stabilize springs +leg variation iii. Pull up to chest lift + leg variation iv. Pull up to chest lift + arm jumps
4 v. Countless variations of legs added on here- single/double leg stretch, single/double straight leg stretch, single/double toe taps/pelvic rotation etc; b. Bend and stretch plank or high knee stretch facing back (1 y spring) i. Neutral/flexion ii. Pelvic rotation 1. adjust placement of feet on mat for varying difficulty 6. Infinity 4 Choreography a. Reverse mermaid (1 R, no shoulder blocks) to and from bar i. Seaweed/snake ribs (lead down bottom ribs, lead up with top ribs/reverse) b. Twisted mermaid stretch (1 R, no shoulder blocks) i. + Rows ii. + Pull through under the bar c. roll up to seated (start in fold over and roll up) (1 R, no shoulder blocks) i. + Rollback to supine to extension ii. + Rollback halfway to circle saw ( rotation) d. Pull Ups (see position 3) (1 R, no shoulder blocks) i. Wide/narrow arms ii. Pull up jumps iii. Pull up jumps one hand over one hand under to switch e.
