Strengthen Your Body - Elevate Your Mind - Uplift Your Spirit

Strengthen Your Body - Elevate Your Mind - Uplift Your Spirit To be Radiant: emitting rays of light; shining; bright with joy and hope. We can all relate to wanting to feel bright, beautiful, courageous, and full of hope and joy. This resource is designed to bring you just that! This guide offers simple go-to tips for building more radiance in your life; from diet, yoga, breath and meditation practices. These are tried and tested tools learned in my 25-year journey with yoga and meditation. Radiance is our birthright lets recalibrate and elevate our energy and awareness! The ancient Yogis understood that in order for us to excel at life, and to access our true power we need to connect to our inner Radiance. Our radiance is our sense of Self, our courage, our creativity, ability to overcome fear, and exceed all expectations. Clearly this is a vital part of living to our highest potential! In yoga, the Radiant Body refers to a field of energy that extends 9 feet around us. When this energy is weak we feel depleted, tired, un-inspired, fearful, vulnerable to negativity and dis-ease, and disconnected. We may have fluctuating energy and have difficulty with commitment. When the Radiant Body is strong, we are bold, we feel energized and clear, and effortlessly attract toward us our deepest desires. Life becomes full of grace, synchronicities and ease. If you have not experienced your own Radiant Body before, do the suggested yoga practices below. Once you have finished, sit and bring your attention to this field of energy, it will be much easier to discern! 1.

Strengthen Your Body - Elevate Your Mind - Uplift Your Spirit DIET The old adage We are what we eat is true. One of the key ways to create lasting transformation and greater radiance is to eat more live fruits and veggies; healthy oils (cold pressed olive oil, raw coconut oil); easy to digest protein sources (leafy greens, sprouted nuts and seeds, blue green algea); and plenty of water. Plants are one of the most pranic (life force) rich foods on the planet. They convert easily to energy and help our system to run clean. It is like choosing the highest-grade oil for your car! Pranic Spirulina Smoothie Radiant Alive Green Juice eliminate any ingredients to personalize for your taste. 2.

2) Rocking Bow: Lie on the stomach and assume Bow Pose: Reach back and take hold of the ankles stretching up by creating a tension between the arms and legs. Rock back and forth from the shoulders to the knees, coordinating the motion with a powerful Breath of Fire, so powerful that it feels as though fire were coming from the nostrils. Continue for 1 minute. Then relax briefly. Bow Pose massages the internal organs, especially the digestive organs, and gives a full backward bend to the entire spine. Coupled with Breath of Fire and rocking it invigorates the entire person, and stimulates the movement of energy to the heart. 3) Rocking the Spine: Lie on the back with the thighs clasped to the chest, forehead to the knees. Rock along the entire length of the spine in conjunction with Breath of Fire for 1 minute. This exercise allows the spine to curve and stretch in the opposite way from the previous exercise. 6.

< 4) Crow Squats: Stand with feet 1 to 2 feet apart. The feet face forward, turned slightly outward. Interlace the fingers in Venus Lock on top of the head. Exhale and crouch down so that the buttocks are as close to the floor as possible. Ideally the feet remain flat on floor. Keep the spine as straight as possible. Then inhaie and return to the standing position. Continue for 26 squats. Crow Squats allow the pelvis to relax and open. 5) Arm Circles: Repeat the first exercise for 1 to 2 minutes. < < < 7.

6) Essence of Self Meditation: Sitting in Easy Pose, cross the hands at the center of the chest over the heart center. Close the eyes. Remain focused and meditate for 5 to 31 minutes. If available, meditate with or sing some divine, uplifting music. Drop any self-limitations. Surrender the self to the Self. In this expanded awareness you will experience your essence. 8.

With the Radiant Body strong, our presence communicates contentment, containment, completeness and consciousness. Meditation to Brighten Your Radiance from Yogi Bhajan Mudra: Sit in easy pose, spine straight. Place the two hands about 12 inches to either side of the ears, palms facing forward, fingers pointing straight up towards the ceiling. The elbows are not pressed into the sides, but are held away from the body a bit. Bend the index finger down and curl it under the thumb (Giaan Mudra). The rest of the fingers are held side by side, pointing straight up. Hold the position steady and breathe. Eyes: Focus on the tip of the nose. Breath: Make your lips into a very clear "0", and breathe long and deep through the "0" mouth. Time: Practice for 3, 11 or 22 minutes. End: Inhale deeply, hold the breath, come into a state of internal focus, and synchronize your entire being. Hold 20 seconds. Relax. Comments from Yogi Bhajan: Who are you? You are a "hu-man being." Hu means spirit, the light, the hue. (YB makes circles with his hands over his head, and out to the sides, referring to the auric field or radiant body of a person.) Man means now, mental, being now. Now you are the spirit of your mind. You are bright light of yourself. That's your identity. 10.

Strengthen Your Body - Elevate Your Mind - Uplift Your Spirit Other simple ways to shift your energy and strengthen the Radiant Body Yogaglo.com Ground and Elevate: Strengthen Your Aura 1: Strengthen Your Aura 2: Stay Connected And Share Your Journey Of Radiance Through My Facebook Page: Use the hashtag: Join me on Twitter: Join me on Instagram: May your inner light shine so brightly that your path is clearly illuminated, May all obstacles be removed, May you uplift and elevate all those you come in contact with. 11.
