3 INTRO TO THIS LESSON Welcome to Lesson #3 of your BarStarzz Calisthenics Workshop! For any new comers, make sure you watch Lesson #1 and #2 before you continue. We ve covered a lot of ground and we don t want you to miss anything. We re going to show you how to train your whole body effectively and finally achieve incredible results. Plus, I m gonna teach you the simple tricks to turn workout routines into real life habits and how to stay motivated. You will stop looking for excuses not to train!

4 ABOUT RACHMAN BLAKE Rachman discovered the 12-Week Full Body Transformation program in Summer 2016 and has trained within the BarStarzz BTX community ever since. Because of his incredible experience he decided to become a BTX Featured Athlete and help others to get make their own transformations happen. When I started calisthenics I really had some kind of love hate relationship with it. Some weeks I trained very consistently and had the feeling I improved. Other weeks I saw no progress at all and ended up in a vicious cycle of no motivation and my body looking very out of shape again. And it s SO hard to get back into training once you ve lost the strength you ve previously had. The one thing that really changed my training habits was discovering the BarStarzz crew. No matter where you are, these guys give you the push you need. Also, I had no clue which workouts to do in order to make progress. I didn t know which progressions to practice for the really cool moves. After they showed me how to do it, I couldn t believe what a difference it made to my training.. Rachman Blake

5 YOUR EXCUSES GET RID OF THEM If you want to achieve success - not just in fitness, but in life in general - Then you need to DO something. You need to take action. You are living this one life! Now there s a lot of things that might stop you people are always coming up with reasons for not working out, reasons for not improving yourself and getting what you want. But these are all excuses! Today we are going to show you how to overcome each and every one of your excuses. This acts as a great way to totally change your mentality. Here s how you do it in 3 simple steps: 1.) Check the excuses from the next pages and see how BTX Featured Athletes get rid of them. 2.) Write down any additional excuses you might have. Look at them again and find ways to overcome them be creative! Imagine your whole life depended on it. 3.) Post your excuse AND your solution to this excuse into the Barstarzz BTX Facebook group and ask for more ideas to solve it. You will get life changing responses. 6 EXCUSE #1: I DON T HAVE TIME Here s some new piece of information for you: You don t NEED a lot of time! You don t need to spend 2 or 3 hours in the gym several times per week to make a change. You don t need to quit your job or leave your partner to finally make the time! You only have to spend minutes doing high intensity bodyweight training per session. And this only 4 times a week. This type of training has been scientifically proven to be more effective than cardio or weight lifting in the gym at getting impressive results. And you cannot tell me that you don t find 45 minutes in your busy schedule. Just get up a bit earlier, spend a bit less time in front of the TV or squeeze it in right after you come from work - before you find that comfortable spot on the couch! No gym membership and no fancy equipment required. Just work out with bodyweight exercises in the comfort of your home or the park around the corner. So when can you squeeze it in?

7 EXCUSE #2: I AM NOT STRONG ENOUGH You might say that you are not fit or strong enough for calisthenics that yu can t do pull-ups or push-ups even. Well, have you tried the negative chin-up we showed you in lesson #1? It takes as much strength as jumping up on a bar and lowering yourself down as slowly as you can. Everybody can do that! In calisthenics or bodyweight training it s all about progressions and modifications. If you start a workout that includes pull-ups and you can t do them, just do negative chin-ups instead. You ll see that after a few weeks you ll be able to do the exact same workout with pull-ups. If you want to work your way up for the back lever, you will need a lot of core strength. So start with more simple exercises like skin the cat or leg raises to build up the 29 muscles in the trunk of your body. You will not only see the difference in your sixpack, but also feel the performance increase when you try the back lever again. Being scared to start isn t going to make you fitter or stronger. You want an incredible body? You want to do muscle-ups? You want a very rewarding way to train? Then just get started with basic exercises!

8 EXCUSE #3: I HAVE NO MOTIVATION The biggest problem people have in achieving their fitness goals is motivation. Here s how you can boost it up. Most importantly: If you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people. Make sure to engage in groups (online and offline) where lots of people are training together and motivating each other along the way. That is what the amazing BarStarzz community is there for. Every time when someone comments saying they were too tired to workout today or they haven t got going with their latest meal plan or they aren t seeing results they always get loads of motivating words and real-life tips straight away. Encouraging them, sharing advice and getting them back on track. You will get so much positivity every day and find friends to train with, that your motivation flaws are just blown away! Over 3,000 people have started the 12-week BTX calisthenics workout program since we opened up for registration 6 months ago. And it s been awesome to see everyone s journey within the community. People have gone through incredible body transformations that they never thought were possible before starting with calisthenics. Not only have they lost weight, but they also proved that the most impressive calisthenics moves can be learned and practices in just a few weeks. Isn t this motivation enough?

9 THE NEXT STEP FOR YOUR WORKOUT BarStarzz BTX is for people who want to achieve greatness. You don t want to sit at home after your 9-5 job and never feel like you are progressing. It s not a quick fix to lose weight or be able to do cool moves. It s about working hard and taking action to make positive steps forward in your life. We know it can work if you want it bad enough and you try hard enough. Everyone in the BarStarzz community is proof of that. Freestyle calisthenics can get you where you want to be no matter what your goal is.
