4 Descriptions AUA CARDIO MIX - Blast serious calories and discover endurance and increased range of motion. Class in shallow water AUA CARDIO MIX- DEEP WATER - Increase strength and power utilizing the resistance of the water, and specialized water dumb bells and equipment. The deep water adds the challenge without the impact of shallow. AUA FIT - This high-energy class is designed to fit people of all fitness levels. A total body workout using the resistance of the water for toning and increasing flexibility. Water aerobics is self-paced and can be made more intense depending upon your effort! AUA INTERVAL INT/ADV - Pump up the intensity without the strain on the joints and take it to the next level. This workout utilizes resistance training, cross training, and resistance bells to provide the best overall workout! AUA STRONG - Increase strength and power utilizing the resistance of the water, and specialized water dumb bells and equipment. Class in shallow water. AUA YOGA - This yoga class is held in our warm therapy pool. Enjoy the benefits of water exercise and yoga rolled into one class. The water temperature is a relaxing degrees. **Passes Required** (these can be picked up at the Welcome Center desk 20 minutes prior to the start of class) AUATIC ROM - For individuals with physical limitations. This class is intended to improve range of motion, strength, flexibility and endurance. ASHTANGA FUNDAMENTALS - This class is a flow practice linking together postures that focus on building strength and stamina, simultaneously building muscle and increasing flexibility. ASHTANGA YOGA - This class is a flow practice linking together postures that focus on building strength and stamina, simultaneously building muscle and increasing flexibility. BACKCARE ACTIVE EASE - This class can help your back stay well, heal faster and prevent injury. Learn to: ELONGATE the body as you lengthen, limber and stretch. ALIGN the bones for safe, effective, and fluid motion. STRENGTHEN by using sound exercise principles found in Pilates, yoga, physical therapy and Dance Movement Therapy. ENERGIZE mind & body with humor, imagery & visualization. This class is an ideal platform for starting yoga and Pilates classes. BODYPUMP - One of Les Mills' most popular programs, BODYPUMP is a 60-minute barbell-and-bench workout that challenges all your major muscle groups. The music - choreographed and rhythmic - will lead you through a great workout that promotes lean muscle and toning. BODYPUMP EXPRESS - Love BODYPUMP, but strapped for time? This 45-minute format will hit all of the major muscle groups, including the chest, back, and legs. - This is revolutionary core training! is a quick, yet intense workout that hones in on all of the muscles of the torso. It only takes one class to be a fan! CORE - A 30-minute core class that focuses on strengthening muscles of the abs, lower back, and torso. CYCLING - This class is a great cardiovascular workout. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises. All levels are welcome. Remember to bring a towel and water bottle! GENTLE SENIOR FIT - A low impact, low intensity workout designed to build bone strength and reduce the risk of falls by improving strength, posture, balance and flexibility. This dynamic class provides a variety of exercises to strengthen both mind and body! GENTLE YOGA - A relaxing yoga class appropriate for all levels of fitness. Gentle stretching and breathing will help you enhance your awareness of your own body and create healthy patterns for reducing stress and body aches. HATHA YOGA BEG - Uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. Recommended for beginning students to learn the correct alignment and breathing in basic yoga postures. IYENGAR YOGA - A form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The development of strength, mobility and stability is gained through the asanas. SENIOR FIT EXPRESS - A class designed for seniors that includes a cardio workout followed by muscular toning and stretching.
