1 Summer Camps at Penn Valley Athletic Club This is going to be one of our greatest summers yet as Penn Valley Athletic Club! Both Penn Valley AC and All Around Fitness Center have established a partnership in offering several youth, teens, and adult fitness camps this summer. Penn Valley Athletic Club is privately owned and tucked away on 40 acres in Penn Township s peaceful countryside. Penn Valley AC has a special Olympic version Pool, Basketball Court, Sand Volleyball court, Baseball field, and Club House. Penn Valley Athletic Club is just a short drive from Valencia, Mars, Adams Township, Cranberry, and Butler. All Around Fitness Center ALL FIT is a new facility located on Route 8 Middlesex Township and will deliver a variety of summer fitness programming by their professional staff. ALL FIT offers sports performance, personal training, and other group fitness programs in their creative designed 6100sf two level facility. Please view the list of summer programs as well as access our website for more information at pennvalleyac.com/ or allaroundfitnesscenter.com ALL FIT BEACH BODY MIX (19 sessions) Begins: June 11 th (Every Thursday and Saturday) Ends: August 13 th Summer Fitness Camp Series Our Beachbody Mix includes a combination of PIYO and P90X/Insanity movements. The combination of muscle- sculpting, core- firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and cardio conditioning of P90/Insanity provides a full body workout experience. All fitness abilities are welcomed as the exercise moves are easy to follow and can be modified to one s fitness level. The combination of the hottest fitness trends, hottest music, and the outdoor experience at Penn Valley Athletic Club will provide participants with an outstanding summer experience. Camp Dates: 8 total sessions June 13 th - 16 th (Rain date: June 17 th ) June 20 th - 23 rd (Rain Date: June 24 th ) ALL FIT Kid s Camp is an excellent way to jump start the summer! Youth will learn about the basics of endurance training and participate in a mini triathlon experience that includes swimming, biking, and running. Youth will also increase their overall athletic skill base in a fun and exciting way through All Fit designed challenge courses, agility ladders, cone drills and more. 2 ALL FIT Youth Basketball Skills Session Boys & Girls Ages 8 13 years old Camp Dates: June 27 th - June 30 th (Rain date: July 1 st ) ALL FIT Youth Basketball is designed to teach the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, dribbling and passing as participants move through a variety of stations. Rebounding and footwork along with team defense and team offense will be taught. Games played throughout the week will focus on the fundamentals and team concepts stressed during the stations. Participants will also be exposed to a variety of strength and speed movements intended to help athletes increase their overall skill base. Basketball Court Time: 10:30am 12:00pm Fee: ALL FIT and/or Penn Valley Athletic Club Members: $60 Non Members: $120 Instructors: Colleen Marston, Sally Martin, & ALL FIT staff ALL FIT Runners Edge Program Camp Dates: June 27 th - July 1 st PLEASE BRING A BASKETBALL TO CAMP DAILY. Youth will learn the fundamentals and preparation for cross- country and distant running. The camp will help prepare youth for upcoming fall sports activities, review running mechanics, and emphasize nutritional guidance along with developing an aerobic base. All ability levels welcomed! Some highlights include quick feet and ball mastering, dribbling and 1 vs 1 skill, shooting, and long range passing drills. This camp also includes speed and agility training as well as structured small gaming to help enhance skills. 3 Youth Sand Volleyball Skills & All Fit Drills! For boys & girls ages (10-14) Camp Dates: July 11th- 14th (Rain date: July 15th) Boys and Girls will learn the fundamentals of Volleyball, techniques, and the basics related to overall gaming. Youth will also participate in specialty designed functional movements, as well as resistance band training and other dynamic movements offered by our trainers. Location: Penn Valley Athletic Club Complex Time: 12:00pm- 1:30pm Who: Ages 10 to 14 Fee: ALL FIT and/or Penn Valley Athletic Club Members: $60 Non Members: $120 Instructors: Kurt Martin, Shannon O Donnell, and other All Fit staff ALL FIT TEEN Athletic Conditioning Boys & Girls Ages years old Camp Dates: July 11th- 14th (Rain date: July 15th) Enhance your athletic conditioning and performance by participating in the ALL FIT Athletic Conditioning Camp. The camp is designed to increase overall athletic performance through functional multidirectional movements, resistance band workouts, agility ladders, cone drills, and other performance movements. This camp will also focus on leg strength, core strength, and resistance training to improve strength and acceleration in order to give the athlete a competitive edge. Time: 11:30am- 12:30pm Who: Ages 13 to 18 Fee: ALL FIT and/or Penn Valley Athletic Club Members: $60 Non Members: $120 Instructors: Kurt Martin, Jay Marston, Mark Hoppe, and other All Fit staff ALL FIT ADULT YOGA (14 Sessions) Begins: June 10th Sunday Mornings Ends: July 24th All Around Fitness Center will offer Mixed Level and Yin (Runners') Yoga. The Mixed level class is perfect for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Along with the 40 peaceful acres offered at Penn Valley Athletic Club, the outdoor Yoga experience will help restore balance, focus on breathing techniques, relieve stress, and enhance overall flexibility. 4 ALL FIT Adult Boot Camp (13 Sessions) Begins: June 14 th (Every Tuesday & Thursday evening) Ends: July 26 th All Fit Boot Camp is a great way to challenge yourself and reach your goals in a fun, refreshing outdoor setting (weather permitting). Our boot camp aims to provide a safe and effective workout for all fitness levels. This program will bring the kid back out of you as it includes agility ladders, battle ropes, resistance bands, cone drills, and medicine ball workouts. This class will also incorporate basic dynamic and body weight movements such as lunges, burpees, air squats, pushups and other various cardio- vascular drills. This is a user- friendly workout where modifications will always be provided.
