5 To: Parents/Athletes of APX Programming From: APX STRENGTH Date: TODAY Subject: Supplements & Meal Replacements Your athletic programs this past season are to be remembered in many positive ways. The Pre-Season Strength & Conditioning Performance Program should have played a large role in the success that you experienced as a team and as an individual contributor on that team. The team s performance on the field was a true testament as to just how hard you worked collectively - as a unit - for strength and power in the weight room, flexibility in the wrestling room, and speed, agility, quickness, and endurance on the track and gymnasiums. Just as the position coaches put tireless hours into game preparation, your bodies did the same with all that was demanded. With continued off-season weight room, speed, and flexibility training, your body will continue to undergo constant growth and breakdown. It is of great importance that you gain muscle throughout the days and nights throughout the rest of the off-season workouts. As APX serves as the Strength & Conditioning Performance Program, we need to be even stronger, faster, and see increases of stamina and flexibility toward our team and personal goals for next season. There is no limit to an athlete s growth potential when dynamic training meets nutrition. We expect this of our Collegiate and Professional athletes, and we will continue to demand optimal performance from the athletes associated with this High School. The Off-Season Summer Training program is vigorous and demanding of the human body, which requires proper recovery and maintenance from nutrition other than that of food. We are requesting that each athlete continues to supply their bodies with a combination of at least (1) order of the following to be mixed together upon intake: 5.15 lbs of Optimum Nutrition (ON) Gold Standard 100% Whey protein 6 lbs of CytoSport CytoGainer (CG) Meal Replacement Shake Please note, each of these sports supplements contain only macronutrients, vitamins, and mineral complexes. These are vital components for recovery and proper muscular restructuring that are taking place throughout the off-season and in-season training programs. These supplements/meal replacements do not contain ephedra or other stimulant additives other than natural B-Vitamin complexes you would receive in any vitamin supplement. They also do not contain any additives that evoke steroid or steroid-like (androstendione) additives. Both CytoSport and Optimum Nutrition put the most research into their products and are approved by both the NCAA and NFL regulatory commissions. Please write the quantity of the desired product in the line corresponding with the flavor and write the total amount in the line below. All prices include shipping. Allow 7-10 days for ordering/shipping. CytoGainer (CytoSport) Optimum Nutrition (ON) 6 lb tub, $45.00 each 5.15 lb tub, $55.00 each Vanilla Chocolate Chocolate Vanilla Chocolate Chip Mint Cookies and Cream Cookies and Cream Banana Athlete Print Name: Date: Total Due: APX needs this form filled out with a Check/Money Order made out to APX STRENGTH
