1 September 2016-February 2018 Class Meeting Location: Meriwether Lewis Hall, Lewis-Clark State College, Room 130 Class Meeting Dates: Monday/Wednesday, 6pm-9pm. Attendance is required. Reading assignments are required to be completed prior to the classroom time. Program Goal: To prepare competent entry-level Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains as required by the U.S. DOT, Idaho State and Washington State Emergency Medical Services Bureaus standards. Performance Objective: Given information in class and text the student will display affective behaviors and knowledge required for entry level paramedics in the states of Idaho and Washington. The display will be considered successful if the student obtains a 75% or better score on all written quizzes, homework and module examination and student Affective Evaluation form is marked Acceptable or better. Enabling Objectives Enabling objectives are listed in this syllabus; do not let this list overwhelm you! This information is provided so you will know which information you are supposed to learn from the coursework.
