5 Message Dear Colleagues and Friends, Cardiac Imaging today is a fast evolving field, growing exponentially throughout India. In my capacity as Convener, Cardiac Imaging Council, CSI, my vision is to disseminate enhanced know-how and expertise about cardiac imaging among its chief stakeholders, i.e. the cardiologists, physicians, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, technicians and more, regarding the when, why, status and impact of cardiac CT/MRI/SPECT/PET in present day scenarios. This would entail not only diagnosis, but also prognostication, guiding management and follow up. I propose to achieve this target with greater coverage through a series of pan India Cardiac Imaging Forums. It is indeed a privilege and a pleasure to invite you to the First Cardiac Imaging conference under the aegis of Cardiac Imaging Subspecialty Council of CSI at the Eternal Hospital, Jaipur, on 30th September, Look forward to some memorable, interactive, interdisciplinary, patient and disease centric, scientific deliberations...
