2 Dear Colleague, It is our pleasure to invite you to Cochin for the summer conference of CSI Kerala Chapter The conference starts with the workshop on May 4 th and we have the main scientific sessions on May 5 th. The art and science of assessing an intermediate coronary lesion will be discussed by our chief guest, Dr. A.V. Ganesh Kumar, Chief Interventional Cardiologist, Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. K. Suresh will be delivering the annual oration. World Pulmonary Hypertension Day which falls in the month of May and to mark the importance of this Dr. Sunitha Viswanathan, head of Department of Cardiology, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram will be reviewing the state of art management of pulmonary artery hypertension. The scientific committee under the leadership of Dr. Sivasankaran S has designed the programme to cover all fields in cardiology from basics to the current advances in cardiovascular medicine. The oral presentations will reflect the pulse of cardiovascular research in our state. The CD sessions are there to deliver you very valuable practical lessons. To your delight, there will be another interesting session "my memorable case "which we expect to be truly exciting. We have an excellent faculty to share their knowledge and expertise with you. This conference promises clear take-home messages that can translate into better clinical practise.
