7 Raw Material The Source Our Source Derived from the finest, richest, and purest source of humic acid in North America and arguably the World. This humic acid source is a weathered type of oxidized sub-bituminous coal rich in humic substances. This humic acid source is similar to the commonly found Leonardite (lignite coal), but our source contains a higher concentration of Humic and Fulvic Acids and significantly lower levels of ash and heavy metals, such as lead, arsenic, and mercury. Our team of dedicated geologists continuously source our raw material with a humic content of 80% or higher. The Competition Typically derived from Leonardite coal or in some cases even peat, China, Spain, Germany and Mexico, suffer from low concentrations of humic acid and higher concentrations of heavy metals in their raw material. Without the ability to change their raw material source, our competition is indefinitely tied to their inferior raw material, without the possibility of improvement.
